Easy parking behind the hotel. Clean spacious room Large portions and a very tasty breakfast. If you have a problem with stairs you need to let reception know when booking as part of the charm/quirkiness is how you have to go up and down stairs to get to a few of the rooms.

We loved this place only little things like light fitting on wall coming off and bonking on my head as it was over the bed I was on. And a mess up with breakfast ordered 4 kids full English breakfasts and 2 adult ones, to receive 6 kids breakfasts with loads of mess ups. 😑. My kids loved it beautiful area

Everything was fine but when it came to breakfast we had to wait over an hour and when it arrived was not very nice, undercooked sausages, gluten free bread given to someone who didn't have a gluten allergy, no cups available for drinks and a giant milk jug which milk poured out of like a fountain. Obviously very understaffed in the restaurant.

Everything was spot on. Lovely lady greeted us and also looked after us at breakfast the next day. Breakfast was good. We ate at the restaurant on the evening and the staff were lovely there too, so was the food. My only grumble is we did ring and ask to be near the lift as we struggle to use stairs They said there was no lift which we took to mean it was all ground floor. It's not. Still that was just a mix up with communication. We would stay there again. The stairs were not too bad and it's worth a little struggle to stay in a cozy hotel
