Holiday Inn LONDON - KENSINGTON HIGH ST. by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Stayed here for most of the week. Conveniently located near tube stations and Knightsbridge area. Nice facilities, but the room was very small and the bathroom was also small with a very tiny and mostly useless mirror and sink.

This was a great place to stay as we wound down our trip. The pool and hot tub were a nice way to stretch and relax.

Nice and close to the High Street Kensington station. We had a lovely stay.

Big hotel catering to airline employees. Breakfast edible but not much more despite many choices. Doorman misled us about need to arrive a full hour earlier at airport and claimed for this reason had to pay surcharge for early taxi. His boss denied both claims. Staff otherwise very pleasant and area extremely nice. Pool nice but no care taken to avoid slippery walking area. Many other hotels in area & I would give this one a miss.

Front desk was very nice

I was able to add nights early on my trip las minute and I was very grateful. The pillows were not the best and our shower was definitely out of date but overall the hotel was super accommodating. I would stay again! The location was perfect for the tube circle/district lines getting around the city!

The hotel was very nice and convenient to the Tube. I expected a larger bedroom and bathroom as I booked a standard room. It was extremely small to maneuver for 2 adults. Coffee was provided in room

On arrival, the doorman Max was absolutely amazing greeted us had a nice showed us where to check in also showed us that we can get tickets for stadiums like Arsenal made a smile and laugh. Max the doorman was an amazing person. Had breakfast every morning the staff are very nice. They make sure that you’re okay when you’re sat down. The breakfast was very nice but the only thing that was bad was the coffee machines they only gave you half a cup of coffee and personally and I’m pretty sure loads of people would like a full cup of coffee. The Health Centre spa was lovely to steam room was nice bit too hot but it was alright. The sauna was gorgeous. The swimming pool was a bit too cold, but it was nice. The temperature just needed to be a bit higher. That’s all the Jacuzzi smell of chlorine. I nearly suffocated of this smell apart from that it was nice. I would come back again.

Quite disappointed that for the second month in a row the sauna was out of action. When booking this hotel it is one of the main reasons. Also the bathroom was ridiculously small this time, and I don’t think the bed was king size as promised. Otherwise lovely staff and good breakfast (we missed the omelette chef though… bring him back!!!)
