Hotel Indigo CHESTER by IHG

There was no storage for some clothing items. pants, socks, t shirts etc. There was no window opening presumably due to safety reasons and the air conditioning was very difficult to set correctly.

Great location, good facilities. Parking not easily accessible for those with walking difficulties- we were so lucky to get the only disabled bay. Staff were the most amazing attentive people we’ve met in a long time - can’t wait to return!! Even the housekeepers knew who we were - best hotel experIence ever!

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Smallish but very comfortable rooms that were very nicely decorated. Immaculately clean and tidy throughout. Perfectly located a short walk from the station and the centre of town. Highly recommended.

Excellent breakfast, fresh hot and cold food with great choice of options. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean as was the rest of the hotel. Nice cozy bar. Excellent location for as we like to be near tourist attractions, restaurants and bars (all were 4-10 min walk from hotel) but off the main bit so it was quiet at the hotel. Close to railway also.

Staff were lovely especially the man on reception who was there until about 11pm. Food at the forge was great and again the staff were fab

The hotel was ideally placed for the station, shops and restaurants and all the staff were friendly and efficient

We arrived by train and the hotel is any easy 10 minute walk from the station and then just under 10 minutes to the town centre. The hotel was lovely. I cannot think of anything to be negative about. The room was quiet, the bed comfy and I loved the decor. (We were in a 'clocks' room.) All the staff were pleasant and helpful and there is both a restaurant and bar food. The food in both was very good and slightly unusual. Chester itself is a great place to visit and it is easy to go into Liverpool on Merseyrail. Chester has a lot of history, shops and restaurants!

The rooms at this hotel are always immaculate, not just in terms of cleanliness, but the decor, too. Beds super comfy. Staff helpful. Pleasant ambiance in bar area.

Excellent room, excellent breakfast. Overall a pleasant experience!
