Novotel Birmingham Airport

Steps away from airport departures. The perfect place to stay for an early flight.

Novotel Birmingham Airport is certainly convenient, especially if you need to be close to the airport. It is within a two-minute walk of the arrivals and departure terminals, which makes it very practical for an overnight stay before or after a flight. That said, this hotel is a far cry from what I would consider a true 4-star property. The carpets in both the bedroom and the hallway leading to the rooms were dirty and stained, which immediately gave the place a tired and poorly maintained feel. The mattress itself was comfortable, but the pillows were practically worthless and offered very little support. Breakfast was also nothing special and certainly not as grand as one might expect from a hotel claiming a 4-star standard. On a positive note, the service throughout the hotel was nice, and the staff we encountered were pleasant. Unfortunately, while the location is excellent, the condition of the hotel and the overall experience do not match its rating.

The building works currently taking place in the hotel destroyed the experience as was woken up in the early hours of the morning to banging and drilling. No advance warning was given to guests which I thought was incredibly frustrating.

This is an amazing relaxed hotel for the start or finish of your trip to the airport

Outstanding location and nice rooms and good bar

Very pleasant stay in a family room with infant and toddler. Excellent distance to the departures lounge.

My only complaint is the good. £21.95 burger and fries only got about 6 fries also chicken supreme with roast veg and potatoes, hardly any veg or potatoes plus NZo seasonings 😢

Absolutely terrible stay, air conditioning not working, lady at desk said it because the sun shining on the room ! Said she look at it but did nothing except put fan in room eventually. Terrible terrible attitude and service from staff

There is not anything we didn’t like about this hotel. For an over night stay before a flight,, it doesn’t get much better! Everything was perfect! Will most definitely be staying again!

Personally for the cost, I feel like it’s now over priced. This hotel used to be one of the best in the Airport, but I feel it needs a revamp, the rooms need some TLC.
