Rooms are old tired and dirty, we had leaves on the carpet in our room bathroom had chips out of the sink and bath and generally run down. Staff woke my up on the Sunday morning at 8am after paying for late check out because they forgot to charge my card for something (could have waited to till I checked out) refused to offer any compensation. I would rather sleep in my car than pay to stay here again. Do not stay at this absolute dump

Hotel clean and smell of paint showed corridors had been refurbished. Settee in room a welcome addition but arms frayed. Chair in dining area also torn. Breakfast simple but welcome. However it could be improved by either a member of staff clearing tables or somewhere for guests to put used items so later guests have a clear table. Staff friendly.

Hotel located on a busy road. Parking next to the hotel. Easy check-in, room as described. Restaurant next door was shut, we had to drive to a nearby pub for an evening meal. Basic breakfast was in the reception area. I expect the hotel is mainly used by travellers with an early flight from Luton Airport.

Very pleasant accommodation staff very helpful the only minus was you only seem to have two disabled parking spaces and trying to exit onto the A5 with the volume of traffic. Thanking you for my stay.

The reception lady was lovely, bedding was clean. It was what it said on the tin, cheap and cheerful. I would probably stay again, just due to it being cheap. The place did need an update, and a deep clean.

I had not seen recent reviews of this hotel when I booked - the ones I had seen turned out to be out of date. From the outside, the hotel looked dated, and this was not helped when we got inside - a very small reception area, which we were informed doubled as a breakfast space. When we got to our room, we found out that the ties restricting the opening of windows were slightly loose, and the windows themselves wouldn't shut properly (the handle was broken). In addition, it transpired that there was no bolt on the door - people wouldn't be able to get in from outside, but there was nothing to stop young children opening the door from inside and wandering off! We informed the member of staff on duty of this and they found a different room - this had the same issues. In all, we had to look at five different rooms before we got a suitably safe one. This is NOT acceptable. The result of all this was that, having booked a room with a double bed and two singles, we had a room with just a double bed. I had to use the cushion from the sofa as a mattress and sleep on that. It should be noted here that the sofa has unrepaired damage to it (see photo). When we left in the morning, we decided not to have the breakfast that was included (cereal and toast in the reception area), but go and spend more money elsewhere. A very disappointing stay - the only saving grace was the staff member on duty who did all they could to resolve our issues with the room(s).

A fantastic budget hotel. We knew what to expect from previous reviews so weren’t disappointed in the ample buffet breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and all was very clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again.
