What Guests Say About Their Stay

Kellie

The location is exceptional—adjacent to Fortnum & Mason in Piccadilly—with most major destinations within a short walking distance and multiple bus stops and Tube stations just a few blocks away. The staff were consistently courteous, professional, and highly responsive. Because we were staying during Christmas week, I contacted the hotel in advance to ask for guidance, given that public transportation does not operate on Christmas Day in London and many restaurants are closed. The concierge promptly provided a well-organized Google Sheet with a comprehensive list of restaurants open on Christmas Day, along with attraction hours and suggested activities. This level of proactive support was particularly impressive. Overall, I was very satisfied with the stay and would not hesitate to return in the future.

The staff were friendly, but the hotel was disappointing. It is labelled as a four star, yet the hotel foyer and communal areas are sparse. I don’t believe the experience is worth the price we paid.

Absolutely not worth the price we paid for it. The only thing that recommends this hotel is its prime location. Oh, and the croissants at breakfast were nice.

We thought that, for the price , the room was very small, with no armchair and one desk chair. The toilet flush did not work at all well - It took many flushes to clear. Also there were no instructions on getting regular channels on the TV.

Gross decorative pillows. Main concierge was also hardly any help, told me his internet was down and just didn't get back to me on how much something was. I called the front desk multiple times no answer, tried to get a wake up call. TV wouldnt work at all. Not worth the premium we paid.

The Cavendish is my go-to hotel when in London. It is a small boutique hotel and is in a great location. Walkable to everything - the theater, tourist attractions, restaurants, etc. The rooms are small if you don't get a Deluxe (I wouldn't go smaller than a Superior). Bathrooms are decent size. Love that you have water bottles for you each day. Was a bit disappointed with the staff this time around, other than housekeeping the front desk staff and bellmen need some training in customer service. Highly recommend this hotel.
