Friendly staff. Large rooms with comfortable bed and extra pillows. Excellent breakfast options. Plenty of parking and felt secure.

Hotel was good value for money. Room was clean, bed was massive which was great. Bathroom was clean. Not a massive amount of choice for breakfast but it hit the spot. Some kind of sports event being attended by kids has lead me to give 4 stars, think they should have been together in one part of the hotel rather than spread about as being woken up by teenagers banging on doors at 3am in the morning is not ideal. I could stop at home for that experience. Also to note there isn’t much in the immediate vicinity such as bars/restaurants, only the actual hotel and a nearby pub chain, you should be prepared to travel if you want more choice

The corridor carpets are in a disgusting state (a large number of stains had been cleaned leaving light patches.
We were unable to get the subtitles (Captions) on the TV - this is important to us as we are both Deaf.
There was no lift - think about elderly people

The hotel was exactly what I needed for a quick one night stay. The rooms were spacious and bright. Bathroom more than adequate.
The doors, halls and general communal areas were a bit tired and worn - which detracted from what could easily be a very good hotel.
Completed online check out, only to have to go to reception anyway to check out... This process is pointless. Overall - good, would stay again.

The hotel is conveniently situated for my work but the appearance and clenliness is not to good. Also I hit gi en a below standard room from what I booked. With the only excise of it was all they had left... well if I booked a certain standard room I expect to get it... not just any old room thats left...I wont stay here again im afraid..

Staff brilliant.
1. Pity about lack of signs NOT displayed. We wasted several minutes looking for our room and then looking for the staircase down to the Ground floor.
2. On arriving in Loughborough, we missed the poorly displayed Hotel sign and drove round in circles, eventually asking a local resident for directions.

Smoke/Fire alarm went off at 6am due to other rooms using using the shower at the same time we were told by the desk staff (!)

Another lovely stay at The Link Hotel. First time having breakfast here, a great choice and good quality. My only problem was how cold it was in reception, dining area, corridors etc. They seemed to have the AC blowing out freezing cold air and had the radiators on. Apart from that it’s convenient, lots of parking and easily accessible by road.

I was visitng friends so booked this hotel for a reasonable price. It was tired looking but clean, and comfortable. The hotel was so accommodating to me being Vegan and were happy for my friend to join me in the lounge/ communal area for drinks. The saff were 10/10.
It was very cold and the heating appeared to be broken but the staff appeared to be working really hard to get round this.
