The hotel was clean and comfortable. On arrival, I was made to feel welcome and the hotel policies explained in a friendly manner including the WiFi password.
The room was cleaned during my stay and there were complimentary amenities left in reception for guests outside of normal hours . This was a nice touch to be able to get extra milk for coffee late at night.
Lovely friendly staff ,and great security . The location of the property is excellent. I would return again .

Do not book absolutely disgusting not clean at all pictures are fake on website does not look like that at all, bed bugs dirty curtains windows you can not get a clear view as there dirty ,walls dirty bathroom mould , should be closed down ,checked in left and hour later.

No reception staff as normally understood. We weren't welcomed but were told no storage for bags when we checked out! And told the time and no one would be there!!!
Outside needed improving , Hall area needed painting. Room and bathroom ok but showe rail in bath not fixed properly on wall and came off. Silicone filler in bathroom needed replacing. Very small high windows, only opened tiny amount ,at top of building so very hot. Fridge OK.

Good for a 1 night stay over as we were visiting family .
Room is spacious and had all the basic amenities,mini fridge ,tea/coffee facilities, toiletries

As others have mentioned, bedbugs left me with an allergic bite needing a trip to a GP and the floors are warped on a 1.9 degree angle. Reception opens at 2-9 forcheck-in but thee are no facilties down stairs at any time, so it's just a room.

Room was perfectly acceptable (room 210) - ensuite was clean, nice mirror in main room, comfy bed with a good supply of teas/coffees. Good location opposite Eastbourne Pier.
Only negative is a nasty stain on the wall 0n the right hand side of the bed - looks like someone has puked against the wall.

Unfortunately, this felt more like a house of multiple occupancy than a hotel. After booking i received an email to say no parking permits available and that the bar/restaurant were closed. I sent an email asking what we were supposed to do for parking and a question about their reception hours as another guests review stated these were limited. I didn't get a response. We were given a room that looked like someone was still in occupancy so after a complaint we were given another room. the manager told me that they had just bought the hotel but that felt a bit weak. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

Very dated hotel, apparently under new management. No parking, had to pay £30 in the hotel across the road or pay £9 perday NCP a good walk away.
Only saw 1 person all the time i was there. This person had zero personality! No food available at all due to no staff for the kitchen

We did not feel safe at this property,we had a drug and drunk come face to face with us,not very nice,he was staying in property.The desk clerk did come and deal with it.Would not go back.The streets at night were not safe.Also no breakfast at the hotel.People of our age do not want to go looking for breakfast.
