The hotel was slightly dated but that added to the charm, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is on a main road but it's still very quiet. the bed just wraps around you and is so comfy, the linen is snow white and imaculatley clean as is the rooms, i will be booking again a third time and looking forward to my stay again.

I stayed at the Regal Hotel in Cleveleys for three nights. I wasn’t expecting luxury for the price, and there were definitely some positives. The hotel has a quirky charm, the rooms were spacious, and it was in a convenient location. However, I was disappointed with the housekeeping. Throughout my three-night stay, the towels were never changed. Instead, they were simply hung back on the towel rail each day. I appreciate that some hotels now only replace towels on request for environmental reasons, but this wasn’t explained, and I would expect clean towels during a three-night stay as a basic standard. Overall, it’s a decent budget hotel with character and good-sized rooms, but improvements to housekeeping would make a noticeable difference to the guest experience.

The rooms are very run down the shower had more water coming out of the pipework connector than the shower head very difficult to adjust temperature, the sink in the room has hot water on both taps so no cold , the bed was reasonably comfortable and soft , loads of stains on the carpets and walls and dusty. By there website they advertise evening meal but, the reality this does not happen , the rest of the hotel is pretty much run down and needs a lot of work , it a real shame as the position is ideal on the Main Street ,, the staff are friendly and work hard as they have many different tasks to achieve , the bar can become very noisy and the noise continues outside shouting wake up residents when they shut. On a positive the rooms are cheap and you gets what you pay for !

A very wecoming and traditional hotel. well carpeted and beautifully furnished in the quite residents lounge. Although i did not take my meals there, the dining area was really well laid out and would match most restaurants My room was larger then most singles at hotels i have visited. downstairs bar area was spacious and friendly, beer prices were very reasonable too. The disappointing things were:- Tv respection was very poor and internet availability was restricted to the bar area. The window in my room would not close properly, but as the weather was particularly warm,it was not problem. i enjoyed my weeks stay as it was near to the beach and bus station. i will look out for upcoming offers and would gladly revisit.soon.

The room was awful..it had a pink very worn carpet It had poor ventilation and no fan.. a hole in the net curtain, the bathroom had a pink bath that was full of silicone to hide all the cracks, no cold water after leaving it running for ages. I know it's being renovated but builders everywhere and noisy. Good point was the bed was comfy and clean.

Presently ,there are electrical works being carried out at the hotel. This caused me a great problem as i couldnt keep cool whilst going throigh chemo treatment. Mark, one of the managers took control of our complaints and dealt with them straight away. We could not fault the staff. They need commending for their hard work through difficult times. The hotel could do with a refurb and hopefully, the electrical work will be completed quickly. Great D.J. Mark, good cleaning staff and bar staff. Only 2 parking spaces after manager has hers.

Hotel was having a re-wire. There were boxes, reels of cable, discarded fittings etc all over the corridor, making it difficult to get from A to B. There was lots of dust, bits of discarded ceiling panel and plastic littering the floor. The electrics went off resulting in the lift stopping working. The workmen didnt know how to repair it. As I was on 1st floor and less mobile, I really struggled with obstacle course on the corridor and lack of a lift. I had to hand in my key and leave.

The room was very dusty. There was brick dust on the bathroom walls together with cobwebs. There was dust stacked on the hand basin waste and mould on the curtains. To get hot water to the basin you had to run the tap for at least 10 minutes and you could not get any hot water to the shower at all. The car park was a joke....7 or 8 spaces for a 40 room hotel.

I liked the fact the hotel was right on the main street making it easy access to amenities. We wanted to have a meal in the restaurant but it was never opened which was disappointing

It's in the process of having a refurb. Good location and we got a great deal for 2 single rooms overlooking the main street. Traditional hotel. Decent bar. Typical keg beers, but reasonable prices. Rooms tidy. Lovely bath, if you prefer a soak. Probably a 4.6/5 for me. 😊
