Had a lovely stay in St Ives. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and in a great location for exploring the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. I would happily stay here again.

If you’re on a budget and want to stay in St Ives, then this is a good spot. If you were to pay for a higher packaged room then it may be of value. Our room in the old peasants quarters had no fridge, no bath and a broken blind. Whilst the food was overpriced it was decent quality. The staff are fantastic but disappointing the jacuzzi no longer works. They really need to inform you clearly there is no fridge or bath in the room we chose.

The restaurant was AWFUL!!! Fillet steak rare came out unseasoned and with 2 sides not seared!!!! Just uncooked flesh staring at me. My partners confit duck leg was cold. When my partner went to reception to raise his concerns as we didn’t want to make a scene, he was told ‘we don’t deal with that here’….

An amazing hotel in a beautiful setting and we will certainly revisit one day without hesitation. The only downside for me would be the dinner menu which was a bit uninspiring and safe. Saying that, they do have a lot of people staying so I guess it needs to be a functional menu, St Ives offers many restaurants so if you are after a bit of flare, wander down into the main town.

The staff were very helpful and friendly but the room could have been better taking into account what we paid for the week it was not all that it could have been. The food at breakfast was excellent the menus for lunch was ok but the choices for the restaurant was very uninspiring but the most disappointing was the room though clean and tidy there was no phone in the room which I thought strange what to do if you have a medical emergency there was no fridge or mini bar considering the weather no water in the room no added extras in the bathroom these things managed to spoil the week. We arrived on the Saturday and by Tuesday we were eating out

Our room was situated at the top of the main building with a beautiful view towards St Ives town and the surrounding area. We were supplied with a fan which was essential due to the hot weather. There were a few maintenance issues with our room which included a drawer front within the wardrobe falling open every time you opened the door. The shower head was small and the bottom of the rail had a part that kept falling off. These are small matters but it shows that the room was a bit tired. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. Overall we appreciated the hospitality from the staff and the ease of parking which was included in the price of the stay. The outdoor pool was excellent.

Staff were excellent, on our second night we had a leak coming from the ceiling from the room above, Spoke to night manager and he was straight on the case and though busy found us a replacement room at 1:00am. Reception confirmed following morning we could remain rather than swapping rooms again we we greatly appreciated and made us feel welcome. Our thanks goes out to the team and look forward to staying again.

The hotel is beautiful, but not appointed too well. Rooms were very hot and effective fans were not available.
There was a prom being held the first evening of our stay, and we were not able to get near the reception area. We hadvto. Park in a remote field, and hauled our luggage to the reception.
Also, it seemed like prom attendees used our room before we moved in. (We found hair and a toothbrush in the room).

The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for places to visit. The restaurant staff were also attentive and provided excellent service.
The hotel’s location is beautiful, and the outdoor ambiance is outstanding, making it a wonderful place to relax. My only suggestion for improvement is that the indoor pool could be better maintained and receive more attention.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel.
