The resort was very pretty and clean, and the cabins were incredible. The included breakfast was international and included lots of different options. Make sure you have a car though. Otherwise, you'll have to take a taxi everywhere. You can not walk to attractions.

Great place for a family vacation! Amazing sauna on the lake experience. Also, you can glide on the lake (they have special sled). No ice skating on the lake though, unless you have your own skates.

Amazng.....Accommodation Queen Igloos so comfy and cosy. Food delish, staff so friendly. Northern Lights snowmobile ride was such fun but cold, wear as many layers as you can, guides were great. Saw the northern lights from bed. Had only booked one nights as reviews were saying best to for staying in the Igloo but I'd stay longer, Igloos are spacious and u can control the heating.

Beautiful!! This place is close to bus station heading from or to Rovaniemi-Saariselka, and the staff are so friendly!! They also has Aurora’s venue for people who wants to wait for aurora (sadly ours was snowing that time). And about the luggage, you have to carry it by your self with unique sled they have prepared for the guest. The breakfast also are good. The only thing is the room is not warm enough, so we told them and the technician came as soon as we finished our dinner and they increased the heat like what we wanted. Good service!😊

Presented really well and was clean staff were friendly however EVERYTHING costs a fortune and is NOT included. $600AUD FOR 2 people to do any activity that goes for approx 2 hours. Breakfast is not served until 8am so if leaving early your told bad luck. Village is far away from reception and breakfast was mediocre

We had an amazing stay in Apukka. The aurora cabin was beautiful and cosy, and we were so lucky to see the northern lights so vividly from bed! The staff were friendly and there is a great range of activities on site. The grounds are stunning to walk around, and it is very peaceful. The breakfast is fabulous with a wide variety of foods - a huge bonus was a lot was lactose free. The shuttle bus to and from the resort (stopping at Rovaniemi city and Santa Claus Village) was very useful. All in all a great stay worth every penny.

Beautiful property and the cabins are just amazing! Everything was perfect! The front desk welcomed me kindly and professionally, also they provided recommendations on places to visit and restaurants. This was my birthday and they even gave me a birthday card! Very special!

What a wonderful surprise! We 3 adults stayed in a Family Unit that was cozy yet spacious. Our view was breathtaking for the entire two night stay! Loved all the effort put into this resort to accommodate and enhance your experience. The unit design was efficient and the “reindeer” made us smile. We ate at the restaurant twice and it was wonderful. The breakfast too. What a wonderful surprise!

Amazing stay at Apukka!! Highly recommend booking a cabin, the glass windows are incredible for star & Aurora gazing. The buffet food and dinners were delicious— only thing we wished we knew ahead of time was that only one of the restaurants is open for dinner during autumn season, meaning very limited meal options. That said, food was still amazing! I really liked the activities they offer, we did fat e-bike rentals, sauna, and took the shuttle to go hiking. All super great experiences! Oh and can’t forget the staff, they were all so warm and kind.
