Was very impressed with the service and cleanliness of the facilities. Convenient location directly across the street from Challes Les Eaux train station. Breakfast was great!

My husband ended up in hospital for a week and the Hotel was amazing. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed including finding me a room even though they were fully booked. There is lots of parking out the back but on a busy weekend it can be hard to get into the carpark as there is no reservations. Just another minor thing. In English the laundry sheet says if the articles are at the reception before 9am you get same day service. However I was charged for express and not same day. This is only a minor thing but I needed clean clothes for my husband. An excellent hotel and would highly recommend it.

UNSAFE FOR FEMALES! The room door is missing the chain and/or bolt lock, and the deadbolt panel was crooked so the deadbolt didn’t work. There is no peephole either, so when a man started pounding on my door at night, I was concerned. The front desk staff came up and didn’t see him. I asked them to review the cameras- NO CAMERAS! I would advise against this property.

For a 4 star hotel the stay was disappointing. The room was very tired with minor damage to walls and doors throughout. There was leakage of oil from the door closer running down inside of the door. There was a big crack in the shower tray. I have stayed in a few Mercure hotels before but this was definitely the most neglected room. On a positive note the location is very handy for the railway station and about a five minute walk to the centre of town. Not value for money.
