ibis budget Colmar Centre Ville

Its a basic room, but does the job for a stop off in Colmar, whick is beautiful. The breakfast was nice too

Clean hotel with excellent and very helpful staff. Unfortunately, the mattresses were uncomfortable, which made the stay less relaxing.

The room was incredibly compact, did the job to see the Christmas markets and in a great central location.

Good price but I don’t like how the shower is literally in the room with see through windows for people to see you. Very strange.

Very small room, no privacy for shower, and very warm. The room faced a busy street that was too noisy to open the window to cool off the room. Staff was friendly, no issues with check-in or -out.

Front desk reception was wonderful, we stored our bags and walked into the city center. Great location! The room isn’t the best…extremely small, uncomfortable beds and really hot which made it hard to sleep. But it was a small price to pay to visit such a spectacular city at Christmas time!

Did not eat breakfast at hotel. Not as customer focused as other hotels we stayed on trip.

Very good location but difficult to park. Requested parking in the hotel in advance but never received a response. On arrival I was advised to park in a shopping parking nearby, which was exclusive for clients. I asked to print 1 page document but it was not possible.

Cramped

Pretty standard if you've stayed at an Ibis Budget before i.e spartan but clean and adequate breakfast plus good value.

Even tho the budget end of a ibis.. breakfast was well presented and clean. Aircon or heater didnt seem to do anything so window came in handy. Black out blind was good but when it was up or window open not much privacy from onlookers Where was the plug for sink, not very eco friendly if running water to have a wash.

This hotel was in a good spot for exploring Colmar. There was adequate parking in underground carpark. Staff were lovely. Its a budget hotel so it was a small room that was quite cramped. However the bed was comfy and the water hot. The breakfast option great. It was in walking distance from all we wanted and a short drive to beautiful surrounding villages. A great economical stay that we would use again.

I stayed at this hotel 2 nights. It was quiet and about a 10-minute walk to the main area. It’s a decent price for a basic room, but the hotel needs some updating and better toilet paper- it was like sand paper! Otherwise fine stay.

Overall it's a fair experience, the hotel is well located and pretty much everything in the city centre is easily accessible on foot, including the railway station (about 10-12 minutes with my luggage). Plus the hotel is also a few minutes on foot too from the Theatre Central bus station, where you can hop on all the main lines, and there are supermarkets within a few minutes' walk too (including the large Intermarché) . The room was really small, so I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay or if you need to work on a laptop (there was a small table in the room, not a desk), but for holidays/just having breakfast and spending the night, it's totally fine. The personnel at the reception desk was friendly, you can sign up for breakfast and get some pizza for lunch or dinner. As for room cleaning, just remember that it's an "opt in" service (you have to let them know each day if you want your room cleaned, towels changed etc) and then that is fine too. It's a 2* hotel and of course you cN tell, but all in all I will very likely go back the next time I need to stay in Colmar on a tighter budget.

Better than any other budget brand. Room, linen and towels were clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, easy walk into the lovely town . Very warm welcome, friendly staff .Parking is a bit tight if you have a large car. Room basic, a hairdryer would be nice .
