Despite it's location up in the mountains, Marco Polo is one of the best hotels we have stayed with our family. Considering it's location right on the skiing resort (you can actually put your skies on just outside of the door and slide down to the lifts from the hotel), it is perfectly located, the service is great, and the option of half board is the best for the skiing season!

Very small rooms, almost felt claustrophobic. Beds seemed to be very old. Basic service issues (had to make multiple calls even for small stuff like tea sachets). Staff seemed to lack basic etiquettes (didn’t offer help with bags when we were leaving). Almost, they levy charges for using most of the hotel amenities (like tennis courts, billiards tables etc)

A great hotel for a ski break in Gudauri. The chair lift in a two minute walk from the chair lift and a ticket office nearby. The hotel includes a ski depot with rental facilities. The pool area is nice although hot tub small for the numbers who wish to use it after skiing. A very good breakfast selection was on offer including fresh crepes and waffles. Room was comfortable and well appointed.

1st room was stink of cigarettes 2nd room had a plumbing issues. We left 2days before check out time and they didn't bother to ask why - NOT RECOMMEND
