It was an extraordinary experience for my second stay here. This time, I was with my mother for a post-surgery checkup at the hospital. I highly recommend it for families requiring checkups at Gadjah Mada University Hospital due to its proximity and the helpful staff. I was greeted by Mr. Thomas, who helped my mother get her wheelchair ready, as she was temporarily unable to walk due to surgery. He was incredibly helpful in escorting her to her room. He also promptly parked the car in the lobby and helped my mother get into it from her wheelchair. Much appreciation to Mr. Thomas. Thank you very much. Much appreciation also goes to Mr. Kris, who was very helpful to my mother the evening after our checkup. He helped her into the wheelchair as she got out of the car and escorted her to our room floor. Thank you for your promptness and assistance, Mr. Kris. In short, Crystal Hotel Lotus has a professional, proactive, friendly, and caring staff. By the way, the restaurant food is delicious, varied, and the atmosphere is comfortable.

A pleasant two-night stay. The hotel room was very clean, comfortable, and quite spacious, with balcony access for fresh air. An electric kettle and tea, sugar, and coffee were provided. The amenities were complete and of high quality. The restaurant breakfast was delicious. There was a wide selection of Indonesian and Western dishes. I'd give a special mention to the traditional dishes, which are always available, such as stir-fries, gudeg, and even herbal drinks. The steamer is also available, suitable for those with special diets or the elderly. There's a swimming pool, perfect for children with cute duck floats. Besides the pool, there's a cafe, perfect for relaxing with coffee and snacks, or for a quick break.

At this 4-star hotel, around 3:00 PM, a loud karaoke session erupted from the cafe area, audible even to the room. A complaint was lodged, but no action was taken. A similar incident occurred again around 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM. For a 4-star hotel, this is truly unfortunate. For breakfast, some dishes were overly salty. Perhaps only the pastry selection was available. Furthermore, several food stalls that should have been staffed were empty and required a call, and the staff were not always on standby.
