We arrived at Fave Hotel at 5 a.m. due to a long journey from Pekanbaru. We were planning a vacation with seven friends. The receptionist and staff were friendly and helpful. Our suitcases were safely stored in the room, as we left them until check-in time in the afternoon. All our room and bed requests were met, even a connecting room was available. The location is strategic, close to everything. Worth a stay.

Arriving at 2 p.m., we were told one bed was already occupied. The room smelled. Cockroaches were infested. The towels were thin, yellow, and dingy. The blanket was also dingy. Cockroaches had climbed onto the mattress, and there were many of them. Rainwater seeped into the room through the glass windows.

I moved from a room full of cockroaches to one with hot air conditioning, only to be greeted by more cockroaches. The bathroom smelled, the AC was hot, and there were so many cockroaches that they even climbed onto the bed. It was awful.
