Comfort, Taste, and Warm Hospitality
I had the pleasure of re-staying at Luminor Hotel in Bogor City, West Java from 26–27 July, and it, again, met my expectations in many ways.
We stayed in a spacious room comfortably accommodating 4 people, which was perfect for our group. The room was clean, modern, and well-designed, with enough space to relax, especially while taking care of your parent.
One of the highlights of the stay was the breakfast – an impressive spread with a wide variety of options, both local and international. Every dish we tried was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor – easily one of the best breakfast buffets we’ve had in a hotel of its class.
What made the experience even more memorable was the super friendly and helpful staff. From check-in to check-out, they were always courteous, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
Overall, Luminor Hotel Bogor offers great value, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere – highly recommended for families or groups visiting Bogor.

For mini bars, it is better to use the "paid" tag for 1.5 liters of mineral water to avoid misinterpretation with complimentary mineral water because it is available at the counter without a tag.

The service was quite good, although you had to change your card twice at check-in because you couldn't access the elevator.
The facilities were also quite good, but the fitness equipment was very limited, incomplete, and not yet repaired.
There were activities for children, so it was family-friendly.
The food was quite varied.
The location was very accessible, but you just need to be patient because the hotel entrance is directly across from the entrance and exit to Botani Square.

A hotel with a strategic location, all the food is delicious 😋 It's just a shame that the location is right in front of the mall exit, so if you want to leave the hotel, it's a lot of effort to queue because there are cars leaving the mall at the same time and there is no security guard to control the road in front of the hotel exit.

We stayed here for one night because it was so close to Botanical Square. Since the rooms were full, we were advised to add an extra bed. Thankfully, the service was excellent, the cleanliness was excellent, and it was also very close to the shopping center.

The parking lot is small, so on weekends, the hotel is crowded with guests but there's not enough parking. Access to the hotel is also difficult, as the narrow road only fits two cars, plus the mall entrance (across from the hotel) leads to crowds and severe traffic jams (on weekends).
The room was comfortable, clean, large enough, and had adequate amenities.

In my opinion, the hotel isn't quite a 4-star hotel because it still has many shortcomings. The room amenities aren't up to par with a 4-star hotel. The room was too small, and some of the walls were broken or missing. I didn't have time to take any photos. The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow for a 4-star hotel, and the amenities were average, not premium. A 4-star hotel should have been premium. Luckily, I got a room for 1.1 million rupiah, which I think is expensive for a very small room. However, the staff were all nice and friendly.
The breakfast was average, but the menu was quite varied.
The good thing is that the hotel has free valet parking, which is very convenient when it's full.
