A comfortable, friendly hotel, close to the cultural center of Borobudur Temple. Ambiance/Facilities: The serene atmosphere makes for a comfortable stay. Food: The food is more traditional, but there are some Western dishes. Staff Assistance: We were helped to upgrade to a larger room because there were no extra beds available. Highlights: However, the most important thing is the comfort of the stay here; it was comfortable and serene. Price: The price is very reasonable for the location and comfort provided. Location: Very strategic location, close to Borobudur Temple and the cafes around the temple.

It's really nice here. From the condition of the room, comfortable mattress, comfortable toilet, comfortable ambience. Then the breakfast is varied, there are choices of fried rice, fried noodles, chicken soup and pecel rice. There is also fruit and bread as well as cereal for children. The service is friendly. That's what I like. If you want to travel to Borobudur, you must stay here.

During this pandemic, shankara is the best choice. It offers villa-type rooms so we can keep distance from other guests and also maintain our privacy. We enjoyed its swimming pool so much. The breakfast was also good. Within walking distance, there is bicycles rental station. We rented bicycles and hired a guide to enjoy beautiful village scenery, experienced pottery-making, and visited coconut brown sugar home-industry. So happy to meet nice people in the village. We really enjoyed our holiday in magelang at the fullest despite of the closure of Borobudur.

Check-in was fast, the room was right in front of the pool, the hotel is strategically located near Borobudur, the pool is clean and the water is warm, the surrounding atmosphere is cool and calm, next time I stay again, the food is delicious, although there are not many types, but the taste is good. Thanks Shankara for the experience of staying.

The hotel is like a villa with a serene atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Check-in/out process is fast. The room is quite spacious and the bathroom is equally spacious. The AC and hot water work, there is a bathtub. Only the TV needs to be upgraded because it is still using a satellite TV which happens to have a bad signal = blurry picture, even though the Wi-Fi signal is strong. Additional facilities include a large swimming pool. Breakfast = choose as you like at check-in. The menu is limited, but the chicken soto is delicious.

The swimming pool is clean and nice. The food is delicious, but could use more variety. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. We got a Cambodia 1 room for 1.4 million rupiah. Unfortunately, the room wasn't soundproof, as the sound of firecrackers and vehicles could be heard in the room.

Stayed on December 30th, the staff was friendly and efficient. I booked 2 different types of rooms with different facilities, a deluxe room and a twin pool view. For the twin pool view, there is a hair dryer, an open bathroom, quite natural 🙈 For the open bathroom, the lights are a bit brighter. Overall, each room is clean and well maintained, the hot water is active, the shower water is strong. Breakfast is quite good. The hotel is quite kids friendly, both children and parents feel at home here. At night it is brightly lit, so you won't be paranoid 🙈 Thank you

In the culinary area, near Borobudur, and on the main road, the pool is clean 24 hours and in front of the room, room upgrades are refunded by the app, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious, there is a terrace where you can sit outdoors but still private.
