This is great hotel for a travel base. It is five minutes walk from the Bari Central train station and the main coach station as well. So you can easily day trip to different places in Pulia and also travel to anywhere in Italy by train or coach. I stopped 7 nights in the top floor junior suite, which had a large furnished living room and separate double bedroom and it had triple aspect views. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was basic and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was adequate. The reception staff were indifferent at best and somewhat rude. I don’t fully understand why the rooms have a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar but don’t supply milk. I was told by a very rude receptionist if I wanted milk I could go to the bar. Luckily there is a Lidl’s next door where you can buy milk and put it in the fridge in the room where they keep the bottles of water you can buy. There are a few staff members who are charming and friendly but overall I can honestly say after many years of travelling throughout Italy this is the most unfriendly hotel we have ever stayed in. To the very few members of staff who always said good morning and good evening…thank you to all three of you.

We were transferred to the sister hotel at the last minute before our stay so can't say what this hotel was actually like but the one we stayed in was great for one night after a late flight. It was easy to get to by the airport bus too.

Breakfast was excellent. Variety including fresh seasonal fruit, breads, cold cuts and juice. Dining area was very pretty. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered a welcome drink and some light snacks at the bar. Also every day in the bar lounge area they have set up a coffee, tea, water, and juice station. This came in very handy in between my touring when I’d come back to the hotel for a short rest. You could literally walk to the train station in three minutes, and you have access to public transit. The room was very spacious and clean vast majority of the staff are helpful and competent. I do find that the front desk is overwhelmed as there are many large tours that check in and check out. So if you wanna ask them a question about where to go and some Logistics, they do not have much time to help. The bed was comfortable, but it could be improved with a quality mattress pad that many hotels use.

The hotel is on a busy street and the traffic noise makes it impossible to sleep. The staff, old gentleman, who waited in the breakfast room is very rude and seems to be unhappy to help out the patrons.
