There was no hot water in our room . Staff were told but there was no action, only told to turn water on and off , this did not work so no showers were taken. There was written request to not put toilet paper in the toilet !!!. There was a large cockroach in the room . Makes me question how clean the breakfast room was . This was supposed to be a superior room !. Staff were at first understanding but then took on very little responsibility. One of the staff lied to her superiors saying we as usual only complained when leaving . I think this hotel should be avoided and health authorities should be informed to at least inspect this hotel.

Slightly stressful to drop of luggage - one way alley - but otherwise great stay. If you are in a shoulder season trip, the HVAC is centrally controlled, so you will have to adjust to Sicilian temperature preferences ( i.e. on the warmer side).

Convenient location in Ortigia. Room was average size for the location and price. Included breakfast was typical. Sheets and pillowcase were stained, but were changed the next day. Wifi didn't work for most of our stay.

We booked a “Superior” room as it cost only a few extra Euros/night but ended up with a standard room (smaller and zero view). They gave us a discount on departure but make sure you get the Superior if you book Superior. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Well managing the logistics of arrival when driving a car, good job in coordinating in advance the parking and valet service. The breakfast was very good and the location of the place superb
