Very good hotel in excellent location. One of the best ever breakfasts.

The rooftop bar has great view for breakfast. It's in great location if you don't want to deal with super tourisy vibe but still want convenience of being close to typical attractions.

Boutique hotel in central location for easy walking to Piazza Navone, Pantheon etc. Property lovely and well maintained. Tremendous buffet breakfast in a rooftop location with indoor and outdoor seating options and a view to San Pieteo. Manager and staff very friendly, efficient and helpful. Would definitely return.

my first stay was fine. the second was horrible. the breakfast is good and the location is good. this is all that is good. but there are plenty of other hotels with good breakfast and great location. this time the room was atrocious-the bed had a nook and you can bump your head if not being careful. I had to put a pillow to block it. they only gave one little body lotion for two people-i guess we supposed to share a little paper sample between two people. cute, right?! also, my paper cups were never replaced. for all days that I stayed there, the cleaning lady never put clean, new cups. should be a very basic thing to do: check the room for basics and replace used ones. a day before my departure, i asked the front desk guy to make a note to call me a taxi to the airport for the next day. the front desk guy told me that they DO NOT call taxi. he has told me that I only could order a limo-YES, A LIMO- from the hotel directly which is double price of taxi or more than triple of the train ticket. he then winked at me-another cute moment from this hotel. I was not interested and obviously, I made other arrangements myself. for those who want to go to coliseum or some other attraction via a taxi-guys, you can travel in style in limo. besides, according to some front desk guy, that is the only option lol. how absurd is that? on the morning of my check out the other guy who did my check our asked if I want.... a taxi. book this place at your own risk...

Great concierge

Very nice hotel except the room. The hotel is beautifully decorated, rooftop restaurant bar is very nice, good views, very good breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. When we entered our room, it was like we were at a different hotel. The room is very dated like the 70's. Wood paneling throughout the room, mirrors on all sides of the bed, head of the bed is sloped at 45 degrees. The worst part of the stay was how uncomfortable the bed was, like sleeping on a piece of wood bench. The bathroom was fine, good shower, slightly more updated than the room. Very disappointed in how we slept which is most important part of the stay. Based on how they did a good job on updating the hotel, we were surprised in how dated the room was and how uncomfortable the bed was. Towels were also old. Based on how much we paid for 2 nights ($779.00 U.S. plus $35.00 city tax) we were really disappointed. Location was convenient and walking distance to Vatican, pantheon etc.. Small disappointment, I had 3 postcards that i wanted to mail, however, it was a holiday weekend and post office was closed. I asked the front desk when we checked out if they could mail for us, i offered euro for the postage but they said they did not provide that service.

We stayed at Hotel Isa to begin our Italian honeymoon trip and arrived on my husband da birthday. The staff were so welcoming, they allowed an early check in and upgraded us. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. It had everything we needed and they checked a short while after check in to see if there was anything we needed. The rooftop garden is amazing. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The view is incredible. The proximity to major attractions is perfect. Everywhere is walkable. Would 11/10 recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, unfortunately the beds were a bit on the hard side and the sit conditioning cannot be turned on until June according to the staff. Rome is awake around 6:00am so we slept with the windows open and woke up with the town! The staff in the cafe upstairs were wonderful! The front desk was nice too.

Wonderful 3 night stay. Staff was pleasant and helpful, the hotel was spotless and the roof terrace for breakfast and aperitivo delightful.

Hotel Isa is perfectly located between the Prati and the Vatican. We walked everywhere from there. The staff went over and beyond to welcome us. From early check in, a room upgrade, a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our anniversary, and even packed us breakfast to go bags at 6:30 am. I would definitely stay there again!

Hotel is beautiful, views are stunning. Location is great too, right in front of a bus stop! Also feels less touristy of an area which is nice. It’s also close to a small grocery store, a pizza al taglio spot, & great restaurants. Breakfast rooftop buffet is a dream & the panoramic views are gorgeous. Staff was super friendly & they even bring your luggage to your room. We loved the parakeets and birds on the rooftop. & the staff friendliness. Just know the hotel room is super small so keep that in mind around bringing luggage. & there isn’t a full closet (just half closet). Also the bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn’t really close so note that you need to be very comfortable with who you are staying with.

Big clean room and staff were mostly friendly. Nice bathroom amenities. Great location by delicious local restaurants and close enough to the action to keep taxis cheap, but far enough away to be quiet at night. Bed and pillows were super hard and difficult to sleep on. Cigarette smoke would waft in if we opened windows, but air conditioning didn’t seem to be working so we needed to do so.

Great location with friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is served in a beautiful rooftop restaurant with a good selection of pastries as well as full breakfast. The same area is a charming bar in the evening.

Updated room, cute little balcony facing Via Cicerone. Awesome Breakfast. Great location. Easy walk to Vatican. Lots of shops and restaurants in vicinity

Room was hot and the room had a bad smell

Our 5-night/6-day stay as a family of four was great! The staff members are FANTASTIC, especially at breakfast where the selections were always fresh and beautifully prepared. The view at breakfast from the rooftop is amazing with St. Peter’s Basilica in the background. We liked the quiet location and so relieved we didn’t book in the more touristy spots in the city which were crazy congested. We walked to most attractions easily. Also wanted to say a big thank you for the cute chocolate eggs the staff gave the children during Easter.

We loved our stay at the Hotel Isa. It was in a great area of Rome, close to the Vatican. Excellent for walking along the river. The big winner was the breakfast, a fabulous way to start your day!

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and would happily return. From arrival, the staff impressed with their friendliness, professionalism, and willingness to assist, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. The hotel is well-located, with easy access to dining and transportation. It’s convenient for exploring the area. A highlight was the superb breakfast buffet, offering a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to suit all tastes. Everything was well-prepared and constantly replenished, making it a great way to start each day.

The staff was wonderful and we really loved their breakfast! Really beautiful view and awesome breakfast spread. The only negative thing is that we didn’t know we’d have to pay state and local taxes when we left, so that was an additional 60 Euro that no one told us about when we booked. But other than that, it was a very nice hotel and we were comfortable.
