The hotel is in a great location, a few minutes' walk to Ueno and Mido-cho stations, and downstairs is the Amiyoko shopping street with lots of food and convenience stores. The rooms are bunk beds, the beds are wider than expected and can sleep up to three people. It's very affordable, especially for families with children. The hotel's large bath is also very nice. First place we stayed in Tokyo so as a Westerner it was a bit of a shock with how small the room was. 4hangers on the wall. No counter space in the bathroom. A small desk. You had to step up to the bathroom and we couldn’t figure out the lighting. It was either all on or all off? BUT, the location was wonderful for an authentic feel for local Tokyo living. The room was super quiet, the beds were so comfy and the included spa is my dream amenity. I want to go back just for that. Very friendly staff although the language barrier was hard to get information but they tried so sweetly! If we come back to Tokyo we WILL stay here.

Enjoyed our stay at the conveniently-located Centurion Hotel Spa near Ueno Station and Ueno Park. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in room with 4 single bunks which was a tight space but perfect for our family.

Overall we had a lovely stay due to the very helpful and friendly staff. The toilet was the most amazing I have every experienced. I miss it. I do think the carpets need to be updated and the furniture refurbished.
