Strategic location (very near to Umekoji-Kyotonishi station which is only 1 stop from Kyoto station). Another facility is the direct link loop bus (Emion Kyoto-Kyoto Station/the Thousand Kyoto) which stops at this hotel and the ticket for this bus is only 100 yen with the discount coupon from the hotel. The room is also spacious, and the toilet and the shower room are separated.

Loved how close it was to the train station and how clean it was! Showers were perfect, and we slept really well in the rooms due to the a/c and comfortable beds! We will definitely book it again

We are a Canadian family of three (including our 16-year-old daughter) and stayed at Emion Hotel five nights in March 2026. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel itself is modern and beautifully designed. A highlight of our stay was the Japanese-style bath included with the hotel. It was truly amazing and provided a great way to relax and unwind at the end of each day. The location is also very convenient. The hotel is right across from a subway station, making it easy to get around the city. There is also a 7-Eleven next door, which was surprisingly handy. In Canada, we rarely visit 7-Eleven, but during our travels (especially in Japan), we’ve come to appreciate it. We even enjoyed their fried spicy chicken here. We did try the hotel breakfast once. While it was convenient, we personally found the selection somewhat limited for our tastes, and it felt overpriced for what was offered. That said, our overall experience was very positive. We really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again. It made our trip very comfortable and memorable, and we hope to return again in the future.

The listing on Expedia does not mention you cannot use the amenities if you have tattoos. The amenities are the reason I booked this hotel over their competitors. I would have saved some money and booked elsewhere if I had known this.

Very convenient hotel since it is close to the JR station. The hotel is very welcoming, modern and elegant. One thing I didn’t know is that they had laundry on site. I didn’t use it but is convenient if you stay longer.
