Strategic location (very near to Umekoji-Kyotonishi station which is only 1 stop from Kyoto station). Another facility is the direct link loop bus (Emion Kyoto-Kyoto Station/the Thousand Kyoto) which stops at this hotel and the ticket for this bus is only 100 yen with the discount coupon from the hotel. The room is also spacious, and the toilet and the shower room are separated.

Hotel is amazing. Only 1 stop from Kyoto station. Connected by a bridge to the local station. Super convenient as far as transportation. Hotel is very modern and zen. It has an entire floor with high end restaurants. Our family enjoyed multiple restaurants during our stay, prices were affordable for the quality and service received. All in all, great value and very professional staff. Rooms and property are spotless. Highly recommended

Highly recommended!!!! Great location, 1 stop away from Kyoto Station (bullet train and all other major train and subway lines). The area itself is quieter, a 7-11 right next o the hotel and a grocery store about 15 min walk away. The hotel however is a stand out! It has a very calm, spa vibe throughout the hotel. The rooms are spacious, the amenities are plentiful. We stayed in a 3 twin room (2 adults and 1 child) the bathroom has a tub and shower wet room with separate toilet room. The public onsen is a welcome addition. The buffet breakfast has lots for both western and Japanese palates. I am astonished this is not considered 5 star and will likely be the best stay during our Japan trip.

Great hotel. Good location only a few minutes walk from the hotel to the nearest station. Onsen is excellent. Best one I've experienced on my latest trip. Breakfast was great too. Lots of options. Coffee machines were average and slow so there was always a queue waiting. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I'd definitely stay here again.

Simply an amazing stay at this hotel! Beautiful and definitely an upper class experience. Not sure why only 3 stars, I would rate this as 5. Clean, conveniently located next to a train station and other restaurants and shops. The shower was amazing! The shower pressure was perfect after a full day of walking. They could use a few more hanging options for towels to dry, but otherwise was a perfect stay. We had two rooms, one for us parents and one for our teenagers, 15 and 16. This provided more than enough space for us. We used the laundry facilities and bath house. Food on sight, lower level. Would definitely stay here again!

The best hotel ever!! Friendly, helpful staff. Room was impeccable, the set up was perfect for my taste, the toilet is separated from the shower and with it's own door. The amenities like the shampoo left my hair feeling great, the lotions for the face were so refreshing to my skin. The bed and blankets were soft, the drip coffee was delicious. Their breakfast has a lot of choices and it's delicious, they have Japanese and western dishes, there's also a great coffee maker, where u can get lattes or a cappuccino. The restaurants in the hotel are so convenient after a long day of walking, with great service and amazing food. There's a 7eleven next to the hotel. Super convenient place. We will be coming back to this hotel for sure, my daughter didn't want to leave, our next hotel was a luxury hotel and I can honestly say, we felt more comfortable at the Emion.

We loved our stay at Hotel Emion. The rooms were very spacious for a family of 4 adults. The room was serviced everyday with fresh towels and bed changes, which was perfect when coming back to the room after a long and busy day sightseeing. Staff were only too pleased to help at any time. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of Japanese and Western style options. The hotel was connected to an overpass which took us straight to the train station which was perfect, or there was also a bus stop just a 2 minute walk away. 7/11 next door was great for easy and cheap meals, drinks or snacks. Highly recommend Hotel Emion!

Industrial area and limited sights in the area. The train museum is a mist see with kids. The rooms are large for Japanese standards and clean. Shower and tub room is generous sized. Our view was of the rear industrial area. The onset was nice touch. Separated by sexes. The breakfast buffet was pricey but we did try it for only 1 meal so kids can try traditional Japanese breakfast foods. They also had western offerings as well. It was nice to get some fresh veg and fruits as it is pricey at restaurants. The base of the hotel has a few premium priced restaurants and we did hit the 7-11 just outside the hotel for supplies
