Hotel Morschein was a lovely place to stay! The staff were very warm and friendly; the room cozy and just the right size. The view was pleasant, and I was within walking distance of everywhere I wanted to go.

Priced well. Curtious staff and clean accommodations. Easy walk from station and other dining, bars, and tourist sites. Matsumoto Castle was only 12 min walk but you go through all the great shops along the way so its wonderful.

Very close to Matsumoto station, and a very reasonable walk to Matsumoto Castle, the art museum, and shopping and good restaurants. The hotel and rooms are pretty basic, but the room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit of a tight squeeze for 3 (two adults and one child) due to the extra cot, but it made a good base for sightseeing. The staff was very friendly and helpful

Staff were friendly. We were able to leave our luggage as we arrived early morning and started to explore. By the time we got back, we were already check in and luggage was in the room. The room is cleaned and has most of anmenties I needed. It will definitely my go to place in Matsumoto

My parents really enjoyed their stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. Great location, spacious room, comfortable beds, last but not least buffet breakfast was beyond expectation.

Had a nice stay here. The hotel is pretty basic but located conveniently right next to the station. The beds were standard and nothing special but the bathrooms were nice and big! The free bike rental was awesome and the staff was very accommodating with our group.

The 3bd room was really spacious and we were able to sprawl out on the floor after a long day of travels.
It is right next to the main Street, the station, and a karaoke bar, but it isn't very loud.

We had stayed for 2 nights in here and had a good time here.
The hotel is situated at a convenient location near the train station.
The hotel staff at the front desk were all very helpful - I have left something in my previous hotels (but I was not sure which one), they helped all the way by calling BOTH of my hotels and found my lost item. And they helped asked the hotel to mail to me when I returned to Tokyo.
Special thanks go to the 2 female staff who made so many calls for me :)
Recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Matsumoto!
