It was exactly what I had requested when booking: a nice room with an amazing view... and when I actually got that room, I felt like I'd received a huge gift, I was so happy... The staff was friendly, access was easy, and the food at the hotel was delicious... My kids and I walked from the hotel to Jonker Street. We were treated to beautiful, aesthetic views, and delicious riverside food and drinks. We stopped every now and then to eat and take photos... If I ever go back to Malacca, I'd definitely stay here again...

I didn't expect to get a room as good as this for only 500 thousand rupiahs, a nice view of Melaka city, delicious restaurant food and very close to the Melaka River Cruise stop.

Love the easy access and strategic location in the middle of town, the hotel decoration was wonderful my kids enjoyed very much on the facilities provided which the swimming pool was awesome. However no credit for lift access which waited too long as only 1 lift was function during checkout

Thirty minutes before arriving, please contact us at +6016 356 3068 for check-in instructions. - If you plan to arrive after 2:00 AM, please notify us in advance by emailing enquiry@maplehome.com.my to receive self-check-in instructions. Note: Detailed check-in instructions will be provided once we receive your deposit payment. We will not be liable for failed check-ins after 2:00 AM due to insufficient notice or the failure to complete the required deposit payment.
Deposit Payment Methods and Identification - Guests are required to present a valid NRIC or passport upon check-in. - A security deposit of RM150 per unit is required. - A pre-authorization payment link will be provided prior to arrival. Guests may complete the deposit using their preferred payment method, including VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Diners Club, UnionPay, or GPay. - Guests arriving after our operating hours who will use self-check-in are requested to contact us in advance and complete the deposit payment. Check-in details will be provided once the payment is confirmed.
Refund Policy - The pre-authorized amount will be released back to the original payment method on the departure day, subject to the condition of the unit. - Please note that once the amount has been released, the time taken for it to be reflected in your account depends on your bank’s processing time. It may take 7–14 working days for the amount to appear in your account.

Worst stay ever. Paid for a room with a bathtub, but the bathtub is not functioning. The toilet smells like sewer. The bed linen has some yellowish stains, and the floor has water stains and is dusty.

The only drawback is that cash deposits are not available because if someone from outside wants to transfer, they can't, so they have to go to another hotel to pay the deposit and if they have checked out, they have to go there again to get the deposit. That's the only drawback, otherwise it's very good, I've stayed here twice.
