Historical and beautiful. The lobby and other community rooms are incredible. What an excellent esthetic. The rooms are basic, but we didn't go to Mexico City to spend time in the room. They were clean and comfortable, and that's all we cared about. The breakfast in the court yard was the highlight. incredible.

We loved the Hotel Geneve! It truly felt luxurious. It was very quaint and historical, which they lean into and it is super cute. The room was rather large and had high ceilings. It is super close to the Angel of the Reform and only about a 10-15 walk from the Bosque de Chapultepec. They have a cute breakfast place and a dinner restaurant on site as well.

It’s a very cool place to stay, very regal and elegant looking with lots of interesting old museum artifacts from the hotel history really Loved that however the staff really not customer oriented at all! Not rude but just disengaged seems to be just a job, no elegance with the staff not very friendly , one young girl behind the desk more interested in doing her make up on than anything else , food not wonderful Either but cocktails were great!

For me, the treatment from the hotel staff is what I remember most. This level of hospitality and historical significance would’ve cost my wife and I hundreds or thousands of dollars in the States. We opted-in for the daily breakfast and it was well worth the daily expense. The breakfast staff were very attentive and friendly. The front-end staff were extremely attentive. We were greeted every time we entered or exited the lobby. It fact my wife had breathing problems due to the high altitude and one of the staff members sat with her until I returned from the pharmacy. My wife and I travel a lot and I don’t think I have ever experienced such hospitality and friendliness from hotel staff. It goes without saying that the hotel interior is historic and beautiful. I suppose the only negative is the loud, vibrant neighborhood. If you like high-vibe neighborhoods, full of restaurants, clubs and cool cafes then this spot is for you. All of our restaurant experiences were within walking distance. However, if you have a hard time sleeping with loud noises then u may need to request that the staff put u on the quiet side of the hotel. The neighborhood is vibrant well past midnight (especially on the weekends).

Absolutely perfect hotel if you appreciate a museum hotel. There’s nothing basic about this hotel. It’s stunning. Located in Zona Rosa.(Gay district) The only thing I would have liked to have in the room would have been a small dining table with chairs. The 24 hour room service was great but the lack of a table and chairs was greatly missed. The room could have been decorated a little better too. A picture or two and that table and chairs would have made the room perfect. The bed was comfortable the pillows and linens were quality. The shower water pressure was wonderful. Overall we had an outstanding experience at the hotel. Shout out to the cafe Buenos Diaz.

The hotel lobby and entrance was beautiful BUT the cleaners of the lobby restrooms in the public areas was TERRIBLE. The room was a different story. The rooms was very clean but tired furniture that definitely has seen better days. The staff the the breakfast restaurant up in the front of the hotel was excellent. So yes, a mix review. Great location I have to say.
