InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort by IHG

Great experience and my second time staying here in three years. It was an even better experience than during my first time because of my more restaurants and better facilities.

As a five star hotel the Intercontinental Presidente Cancun resort is alright but not to the level you expect for five stars: upon arrival there was no bottled water in the room, something that is standard in Mexico. We had to ask for it and wait for someone to bring some bottles. The curtains are simple roller blinds that don't block much light. No blackout curtains so you will wake up with the sunrise at 6 AM. The elevator feels like a service elevator (we seriously though we were in the wrong elevator for a moment): small, ugly, and clunky with a noisy fan. The AC in the room kept starting and stopping with a 10 seconds interval on-off-on-off. I booked and paid for an Ocean View room: the view was the roof of a building with a sliver of ocean half a mile away (I complained and they said that in their system this was marked 'ocean view' but they did offer 20% discount on a spa treatment). We were only there for one night, our last night in Mexico; I won't be staying there again.

The room was clean, the restaurants were nice. The food was good and delicious, we really enjoyed the beach and the pool

Everything was excellent, and the hotel is very well located. Nevertheless, we couldn't swim or visit the beach because of the.sargassum Terrible!! The hotel was very good

Staffs were sweet and the way they cleaning and maintaining property was impressive.

Everything was excellent, the hotel is very well located clean and nice. The staff is very kind. The only problem is the seaweed because we weren't able to swim or be on the beach. And it smells terrible.

Nos quedamos sin agua en la habitación, no tuvimos aviso oportuno de la situación, nos complicó / atrasó los planes de la mañana y la salida hacia el aeropuerto con la familia. Por lo demás, la experiencia fue muy buena, un lugar relajante y familiar.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is wonderful but their pool lounge chairs are very sub par. Also no waiters really to help with drinks pat the pool or beach and no music. Seemed very boring. We needed to go to other hotels for pools. Also the beach is clean on the sand but the ocean is FULL OF SEAWEED and NOT SWIMMABLE. The rooms are great.

Los empleados no son buenos en comunicación, no hay mucha variedad de comida.

Very nice, quiet atmosphere. Staff was extremely nice. Good food options. Great view (Both the ocean view room, and the outdoor areas). Downsides: Very little sound-proofing between rooms. Ice machine on our floor didn't work. Towels had an odd smell. (Room in general did not smell great upon entering for the first time). Overall, would definitely go again.

Great stay again! Everyone in all different departments of the hotel is friendly and kind. Concierge service is always prompt and reliable. The epitome of service is Martiniano on the beach/pool service.Outstanding! Thank you once more for the great memories, Looking forward for our next stay!

The hotel has a very lovely pool and beach amenity, with many restaurants, bars and spots to hang out. It is a very nice, well maintained hotel. We only had one night, and had a great time at the pool. The water is warm and pleasant. There is a very short walk between the pool and the beach, and there is plenty of shade with trees, which is appreciated. Would love to return here for an extended stay.

Overpriced but great location

R erything great from srrival to departure. Thank you Fidel at concierge team, amazing as always. Fredy sommelier and everyone at The F &B. I mention this to the beach time but looks like they are not that experienced: THE QUAD USED TO REMOVE SARGASSUM HAVE TIRES TO INFLATED. Deflate a little more , make them softer and Quad with trolley will move easier on the sand without need to pit those horrible wooden boards on the sand.Looks horrible! This is a 5 star hotel. I did off road many years and sand can be teicky , ask me next time . Manuel Fragoso

This place is an absolute gem. The property is gorgeous from every angle, with an elegant and impeccably maintained atmosphere. While some of the rooms are a bit older, they are comfortable, and the stunning views more than make up for it. The pools are fantastic, the grounds are beautiful, and the service is truly exceptional. Every interaction with the staff was warm and attentive. I am completely enamored with this place and would gladly return again and again.
