Occidental Tucancún All Inclusive

Excellent customer service, all the staff courteous and polite, hotel in a very good conditions, the only thing that I was disappointed is that resorts don’t offer natural juices in the restaurants, that’s the only one disadvantage I founded. Others all inclusive offer natural juices, this's the first resorts that won’t offer natural juices.

The only thing my family and I enjoyed was the pools. The “premium” room for check in was moderate, after Check in it felt like an uphill battle. We informed the staff of multiple issues and they acted as if it wasn’t a big deal and would deal with it eventually. Had to complain multiples times for something to get fixed. The food pallets do NOT make sense. Almost the exact same thing ever. Single. Day. The music was provided from the cocobongo booth and it would constantly throw the vibe off. There is always throw up in the pools and not so nice staff. So many room issues. If you book here just be prepared for such.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ 4/5 Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel in Cancun and would recommend it to others. The food was excellent, the restaurants offered plenty of variety, the pools were beautiful, the drinks were great, and the overall atmosphere was fun and relaxing. Most of the staff members were friendly and helpful, which made the experience enjoyable. The reason I’m giving this hotel 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is because I experienced a few issues with the rooms. When I first checked in, I asked if it would be possible to stay near my brother and sister-in-law. I was told that because they had paid for a beach-view room and I had booked a standard room, we would be placed in different areas of the hotel. While I understood the explanation, it was disappointing since we were traveling together. When I got to my room, I discovered that there was no TV remote and, more importantly, the door lock was not working. This made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The next morning, I spoke with the front desk, and they were very understanding and accommodating. They quickly helped me move to another room that was much closer to my family, which I truly appreciated. The second room was definitely an improvement and had a working lock, but one of the lights in the room wasn’t functioning. While it wasn’t a major issue, it was another example of small maintenance problems that could have been addressed before guests arrived. Despite these inconveniences, I genuinely enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is descent. AC was not working properly. The food was ok better than We've had in other local resorts. Convenient location not far from la.Isla Mall. Beach was nice. Entertainment was good. Had overall a great time.

La ubicación de la propiedad es buena. La mayoría del personal es amable y cortés aunque algunos de los encargados de recibir en el buffet y mesero/a mostraron una actitud arrogante y poco profesional. Al hacer las reservaciones para la cena no dejarse atrapar por las “promociones” o invitaciones a desayunar, es una estafa/fraude.

We had a great stay and experience. The room was beautiful and the balcony overlooking the lagoon was picture perfect. We loved the helpful staff and the included drinks. The food was okay, breakfast was best. There is an Italian restaurant, Mexican restaurant, and seafood restaurant. If you stay 7 nights, you are allowed to book 4 reservations at the restaurants for a seated dinner otherwise you can go to the buffets unlimited times. The pools were wonderful. There is beach access but watch out for red flags due to sargassum. We were not allowed to swim in the ocean in front of the hotel. There is no need to get a rental car, use the uber app to get ~$5 taxis everywhere. There is a timeshare presentation for Barcelo that seems like a good idea but it is optional to attend, they gave us a free bottle of tequila for attending. There are free entertaintment shows for the family every night such as magic and circus. There are free activities every hour 9qm-4pm. They gave us unlimited free bottles of water, chocolate, nuts, beer, pop, etc in our room mini fridge. It was so affordable to book this hotel and it was totally worth it. Thanks Occidental Tucancun

Todo muy limpio, y los trabajadores amables y siempre muy atentos que nada faltara, limpiaban siempre el cuarto y todo muy seguro, lo único malo era la.playa qué estaba un poco sucia pero todo lo demas.muy bien muchas, el desayuno super igual que la.comida y siempre hay comida y bebidas disponible en el hotel para todos,el parking un poco pequeño pero seguro, gracias al señor miguel.siempre muy atento,repetiría la estancia sin problemas

A mi me gustó la amabilidad de los trabajadores, los cocineros y las meseras muy amables

Good place, just not many food options in the buffet. Front desk personnel need to improve. A/C was not functioning properly.

We arrived there, the check in was okay. But there was sooo many times our card didn’t work then both of the rooms didn’t have door knobs. The elevator didn’t work so we had to use the stairs. You weren’t able to eat dinner at the other restaurants if you didn’t book before 7:30am. All their stuff was molding, out of date. NEVER AGAIM

El check in fue desastroso, nos demoraron una hora y media. La habitación no tenía agua fría, solo salía agua hirviendo imposible de usar. Luego pedimos cambio de habitación y se negaron. Arreglaron el agua y cada mañana amanecimos sin servicio de agua en absoluto. Realmente un desastre. Desorganizados y además muy desagradable el trato del personal. A excepción de Carolina en el Rest. Claraboya: muy atenta y amable siempre. Deja mucho que desear este hotel siendo de una cadena tan prestigiosa como Barceló.

Si tu estadía es por una noche, no se puede realizar reservación para cenar en los restaurantes, solamente en el buffet y no es tan bueno. Por todo lo demás muy buen servicio
