ibis Schiphol Amsterdam Airport

We arrived very late, or early in the morning. Kenny, hopefully that was his name, really went out of his way to help us out finding a more convenient room. He had such a great energy and a great smile. Also, he spook Dutch, not all the staff spook the language. We came back after our second trip and helped us out again, thank goodness he was there! Thank you Kenny

Had an executive room which has good amenities and is comfortable. Easy transportation with the airport shuttle to the airport and railway station at Schiphol, and the bus station across the road gives you access to Amsterdam and the surrounding towns.

This property is awful. Feels more like a condemned mental hospital or a prison. Rooms are filthy, AC does not work, place has an awful smell. We only stayed there to be close to the airport for an early flight, if i had to do it again i would have just had my family sleep in the car.

Very clean and affordable hotel, especially for a short layover. Overall, the stay was pleasant, but I did have one disappointing experience upon arrival. After a flight from Toronto, I arrived at the hotel around 1:45 p.m. feeling exhausted and hoping to rest for a bit before exploring the city. I was the only guest at the front desk and asked whether an early check-in might be possible. The staff member checked my reservation and advised that early check-in was not available for my booking type. He did kindly offer to store my luggage and suggested I spend some time in town. Since I was extremely tired, I sat on one of the lobby couches and ended up falling asleep. About 30 minutes later, another staff member woke me and advised that sleeping in the lobby was not permitted. I recognize this is a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things, and I understand that hotels have policies regarding check-in times. However, it was difficult not to feel disappointed, particularly since the front desk had already looked up my room and it appeared there may have been availability. As a guest, it left me with the impression that booking through a third-party site such as Expedia may have limited the flexibility the hotel was willing to offer. That said, the property itself was clean, comfortable, and offered excellent value for the price.

Hi, the staff were lovely and the room was functional but would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea.

For an overnight stay to go to the airport the next day it is fine. The free shuttle is good. Food options are just okay. So I reiterate, good overnight hotel. There is, as far as I saw, nothing close by.

The shuttle service is awesome. The buffet service was not very good, but the al la carter restaurant was very good. Our issue was with the room - we booked a budget room so didn't have a coffee pot etc but managed without ok. The problem was that the baseboards under the

Ibis Red is perfect for an overnight stay before flying. The shuttle buses could maybe run a little more often. We had to wait 45 minutes at the airport for a shuttle to come by. But it was great the next morning when it left on time to get us to the airport for our flight. Two nice eating options on the premises. Very good experience

The breakfast buffet was great but the dinner buffet is absolutely awful, the rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was lovely and so so helpful. Will absolutely stay here again and go somewhere else for supper

Convenient hotel, near the bus station and the airport. Plus the free shuttle to the airport its a very nice add on. AC didn't work at all...

It is convenience to every where if you take the hotel free shuttle bus to the airport and then from the airport you can take the train. I will go back to stay this hotel again next time.
