The hotel is perfect for short stay. It's just across the Amsterdam Central, and just next to the restaurants and souvenirs row, in addition to the red district. The room also spacious, has good wifi and big screen TV. If you just have short stay in Amsterdam, this is the perfect choice, as it will save you time to go around places.

The staff made our stay! Renado went above and beyond for us! He was the whole reason that we are coming back to stay in two weeks. Beautiful hotel and great location. Just across from Central Station. Easy for the tram and walkable to many attractions.

We stayed at this hotel with our family, including young children, and had an amazing experience. While Amsterdam isn’t necessarily a destination we’d recommend for spending many days with kids, it definitely has its own charm and there are still plenty of family-friendly activities to enjoy. This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was perfect, the rooms were spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. We absolutely loved our stay, and if we ever return to Amsterdam, we wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again. Highly recommended!

Excellent location given the proximity to Centraal station. The staff are great. The rooms are mediocre, appropriate for the price point, not dingy but nothing fancy either. The pullout couch was obnoxiously loud when the kids rolled around. Beware on the weekends you might hear some loud electronic music from somewhere nearby and it goes late.

The hotel manager, bell staff and front desk did a good job working through the various challenges my room assignments generated. The bell staff is exceptional and very helpful. They assisted me through a few room changes that occurred due to no one’s fault; merely maintenance issues in an old building.

Excellent central location, just steps from the central train station. The spacious room for a family of 4 was comfortable and quirky (stairs in the room, window facing other windows). The gym was well appointed and had a sauna. The Bathroom was modern and lovely.

The hotel does not live up to it's rating. When I arrived I was given a room with scaffolding on the window and not facing the main street as I was expecting. Nothing like opening the blinds to find a construction worker holding a caulking gun. On the plus side they were quick so the entire scaffolding was gone a few days later. The lobby smells ... bad. I'm not sure what's going on but we both noticed the smell over multiple days. The recommended restaurants from the staff were not good, I would call them tourist traps, given the number of restaurants around I would have expected better suggestions. The breakfast at the hotel was good (but expensive). The location was excellent it's a shame the rest of the hotel doesn't live up to it. Am I being harsh, maybe but at these prices and levels I think it's fair to expect a bit more.

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to decide on a hotel for a family of 4. Took weeks to decide. This hotel was truly perfect. The location, size of the family suite, huge bathroom (for Europe). The canals on the side were loud for maybe one hour a night in total and then quiet the rest of the night. We used a sound machine and it was just fine. My only complaint is that when you have a family suite and you know there are 4 guests, leave 4 towels. We consistently were given 3 towels and then had to call down for the 4th. Which of course they brought no problems. Just a detail thing. We would stay again. Had the best time in Amsterdam even if it was during the heatwave.

Arrived off cruise ship at 9:00 am and didn’t get a room until 3:00. Checked a few times and noticed other arrivals were getting rooms. We were told that we had a different tier to explain our wait- unacceptable!
