We stayed here for 4 nights, we were welcomed with a very friendly manner. Our Room wasn’t quite ready, due from us being slightly early for check in. We were able to leave our suitcases so we could go out & explore Zaandam. The hotel was in an excellent location, a few minutes walk up to the train station, there was an escalator & a lift to the top. The train station was good, great clear screens so you could see what platforms you needed, a 15 minute transfer on the sprinter train to the city central. We arrived by train from Schiphol airport which was so easy to do the transfer took around 18 minutes, a great way to travel around, very easy, reliable & very reasonable, we used it every day we were there. We didn’t have any food at the hotel as we are not breakfast people, we ate out when we were out exploring so no food was required! We did use the bar for a relaxing drink on return from our busy days out. Staff were very pleasant, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere in comfortable chairs. Our room was lovely, A very comfy queen size bed, great pillows. We slept so well. A fantastic bathroom with a walk in shower which was very powerful. A safe & coffee machine, we used this for an instant coffees which I took with me. I Would highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was great overall. The staff were very helpful and the hotel is in a fantastic location. I used the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast, and both were really good. Prices were also quite reasonable by Amsterdam standards. I’d especially recommend the breakfast, you can get fresh and well-prepared options for around €20, which is great value compared to eating out elsewhere. It’s also just a 2-minute walk from Zaandam station, which makes getting around very easy. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this hotel. It’s good value for money and very comfortable. The only downside for me was the pillows, which were quite uncomfortable. It would be great if there were a few different pillow options. Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel but on the wrong side. Dirty streets and homeless outside the hotel. Close to transport. Room was nice and spacious. Did not have breakfast so can’t comment. Ok for a short stay. Didn’t like the dark bathroom.

zaan hotel was just great for us. We had the cheapest room but it fine for us. Bathroom awesome, loved the shower. Location great. ,2 minutes walk to train. Restaurants and shops very close by. Breakfast disappointing as hot items not hot but lots of choice for cold items. Supper in restaurant really good and so great not to have to walk anywhere after a tiring day in Amsterdam. The sort of park between hotel and train station a bit off putting, people drinking and smoking but they are harmless so you get used to it. Grocery store across the parking lot with great salads etc.

The hotel is in such a great location-seconds from the train station. The staff were friendly. Our room was very clean and the bed was really comfy.We couldn’t seem to get our air conditioning working in the room but opened our window a little at night and in March this wasn’t such an issue. I would like a mirror in the bedroom as well as one in the bathroom. We very much enjoyed our stay though and if you want to stay a little bit out of Amsterdam then this hotel fits the bill. There were trains into the centre every 3/4 minutes and they were always on time!

Shower is odd. Great pressure and heat from the handheld nozzle but poor pressure and not as hot from the rain shower head. Also ……Apparently no one could get coffee maker in the room to work. Restaurant very good.

Rooms were dated, with stained carpets and sofa. No water in the rooms, lomited to one hand towel and one small bath towel per person. No beds made the three nights we stayed nor room cleaned. Not great for a junior suite. The only saving grace for thia hitel was the staff we're so friendly and attentive.

What a great hotel! Wonderful staff, super comfy sheets and beds. High ceilings. Small fridge and coffee maker in room. We stayed 2 weeks and the location is super convenient to travel to other parts of Netherlands via train. Rented bikes from hotel a few times & that was super fun. Full grocery store across the parking lot with excellent food options. The lobby is HUGE with plenty of space for meetings or work calls or just to chill. Front desk staff was friendly & efficient. Highly recommend.

Room big and very clean, bed very comfortable. Staff were all amazing. Breakfast was really nice, good variety. 2min walk to Zaandam station only about 10 mins on train to Amsterdam Central, and about 25 mins from airport.
