Comfort Hotel Børsparken

We opted for the smaller sized rooms mainly because it was the cheaper option. The room was very clean and it was completely adequate for what we needed. Slight downside to the smaller room was there wasn’t a table or anywhere to put anything. We made it work, but for some, this could be problematic. The pressure of the water in the shower was pretty decent. They aren’t offering cleaning services for short stays currently, but if you need anything, the staff would be able to help you out. Despite the hotel have some members of staff on strike (mainly housekeeping and restaurant staff), the rest of the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Location of the hotel was fantastic. Everything is practically on your doorstep! Oslo itself isn’t very big and we managed to walk to everything. For others, the bus stop/tram stop is easily accessible and just up the street from the hotel. The bus terminus and train station are about a ten minutes walk away. The room didn’t come with tea/coffee making facilities but after reading somebody else’s review, the reception staff provided us with a kettle, no problem. Breakfast had a lovely variety of options which would suit most people. There was even a gluten free section, away from the other foods meaning they catered for people with dietary issues. Overall, the hotel had what we needed and was clean. Friendly staff, from reception to the restaurant staff. Lovely hotel.

Everything was very clean. Breakfast was everything you needed, and better than other comfort hotels across Norway. Location was very good. Hotel workers were on strike during our state, which led to increased paid times at the reception when checking in and asking for things. Would stay here again.

The hotel is close to the central train station and also a bus stop, making getting around convenient. Although the room was small it was comfortable. The staff was very kind. Best past was the fantastic breakfast buffet, with an assortment of breads (even gluten free options), and a spread of meats and cheeses. There was also fresh cut fruit and juices, plus bacon, eggs, oatmeal, and beans. And also yummy additions like chia pudding, muesli and herring. A great way to start the morning!

Bed comfortable, good breakfast buffet, convenient location 5 mins walk to the train station and the famous opera house. Lots of food options including 2 supermarkets at the mall next to the train station. Would be nice to have a kettle/coffee maker in the room.

A single room in every sense of the word. Clean and comfortable, excellent breakfast and staff.

Very convenient area, close to train stain and floating saunas and opera house. Good breakfast for a couple days, if you are staying for longer then 3 days breakfast would get old and stale, what they offer is on the smaller variety. Would be nice if they had microwave available at breakfast. Had the Double room, was basic but clean, shower was on the small side, but the room felt big. Nice view facing the opera house, would highly recommend that room on the opera house side, just ask for a high floor room. Overall, I was happy for what I got and the money I spent.

Amazing breakfast

We had a great stay here! Super close to the Oslo station and only about a 5 minute walk. Very clean and the bed was comfortable. We were given extra pillows when needed. The last day we needed to leave at 545am they set us aside a bagged breakfast as we weren't going to make the breakfast. It was a great experience and staff were never kind!

Very nice and helpful staff. Good stay overall

Booked for 2 nights for a mini break with my daughter. The welcome from staff was exceptional and they were happy for us to leave luggage before and after we checked in which gave us the opportunity to explore the area without carrying bags. Breakfast can get busy but we got a table both mornings and the breakfast choices were really good and set us up for the day. Our room was simply furnished but completely adequate and comfortable and it was nice to have a view towards the Opera house (it would probably be hidden by trees in the summer). The hotel location was great with everything we needed close by and was a great base. The balcony on the 8th floor was a good viewpoint and a nice place to watch the sunset. We would definitely stay again. Thank you
