This hotel was the base for visiting the north cape, good location. Hotel is more travel lodge than Hilton. Bed and breakfast only. We booked three nights but ended up staying an extra night as all roads closed out due to the weather. Hotel staff were great.
It was disappointing that they didn’t offer any food in restaurant at night even something light would’ve been appreciated as on last night they did something for a group which were also snowed in but we couldn’t join.
It is a good hotel and there are plenty of places to eat in the town.

front desk lady said sternly to us as we walked up to check-in, "not now, you'll have to wait". shift change and she was booting up her pc. Still did not have to be rude. Bathroom shower leaked into whole floor. Ok for one night only

I stayed only a night in October 2017 for continuing to North Cape. I tried to see northern light in Honningsvag by driving a car outside the town. Unfortunately, it was raining all night, so I could not see it.

The hotel is a short easy walk from where the Hurtigruten coastal boats berth. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful with tourist information. The Breakfast buffet was excellent. I had a lovely view of the harbour. The hotel is well located for shops, walks and the bus stop to Nordkapp and Karasjok.
