Very nice staff and affordable

Staff always busy doing there work. Seem to be in tune to what each others doing and help each other.

This hotel is a bit off the beaten track and hard for taxi drivers to find. But the price to value was great. The food was quality of a five star chef while the price was totally affordable. The room was small but cozy and clean. The bedding was Filipino standard foam mattress but again clean and comfortable for me.

Good overall value for $. Very relaxed atmos - a homey feeling! A peaceful oasis in the midst of the chaos of noisy traffic in the vacinity. Close to airport. Personal attention of Owner. Staff very cordial & helpful. Great food prepared by an obviously good Chef! (fried fish twice was outstanding!). Look fwd to further stays should the future bring my return. 🤗

Couldn't fault the staff all friendly and plessent WiFi pretty poor also water pressure very bad also of the beaten track so difficult to find but saying that stay is pleasant enough

The place is not easy to find, since it's hidden behind the Cebu beaten paths and sewage Kingdom. Rooms are ordinary. Water pressure is pathetic. Staff are nice and helpful. The bar area is cool, good for chill. All forms of Caucasian veterans come to hang out here with their Fillippino girlfriends lol 😂.

The air conditioners did not work. We had two rooms because of family and neither one worked, and the water pressure for the shower was terrible... Had to get a bucket and hand scoop the water.,but it took forever for the bucket to fill up

Experience was okay to great, since the family room we booked in the inn had great a/c and the two beds were comfortable to sleep at. There are problems of course, since the wash room had no faucets and pails in case of no available tissues. The tissue that was available wasn't very big, and it easily disintegrates if forced from its dispenser. The washroom sink is the biggest problem, since there is an unnecessary space between the sink and the shelf. We had to "lean in" when we are brushing our teeth or washing our faces, which is a hassle for us, especially if we're on a hurry to leave for the airport. The bathroom/shower room has a problem as well, since there are no hangers to place our towels after taking a bath. The thermostat for the overhead shower is also too high, causing us to have a hard time switching the temperature from "very hot" to "lukewarm". There is also an odd smell when we first checked in to our room, but we managed to have that solved by opening the balcony door. The balcony door was just right, though we didn't manage to spend a lot of time there. In terms of the entertainment value, there were a lot of cable channels on t.v. We were able to watch both local and international channels while relaxing in the room. The inn's lobby was just okay, since there is a bar with a wide selection of local and international liquors. We liked the free play given to us on the lone billiard table at the lounge, to pass the time at night. Overall, okay to great inn!

The hotel is good accessible to the airport.The room is very clean.The bed is comfortable.

WE HAD A FAIRLY GOOD STAY THERE,,,THE STAFF IS GOOD , AND FRIENDLY ,HELPFUL,,HOUSE KEEPING IS GOOD,,,AND LAUNDRY IS CHEAP

I was just passing through and stayed 2 nights. The hotel was located close to the airport which was why I selected it. It was comfortable enough and was reasonably quiet. The food was terrific, was reasonably priced and the staff were attentive and personable.

Very nice room, high end aircon and TV, On demand hot water shower. Food was great, staff very friendly. Overall a good experience.

The hotel was very nice for the price that I paid I'm not sure if you could get a better room. I stayed there for my entire trip from May 27 till June 16th of 2017 the staff were nice. I had a couple of problems with things and went to the front desk and they fixed the problem very quickly. The food was good and I had a very enjoyable stay and when I go back to the Philippines I will stay there again. So THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE STAFF OF MB'S GARDEN

The staff was wonderfully accommadating after my flight from Los Angeles. By chance, I'd been feverish for 2 days before my flight so I was exhausted. They got me in a room early so I could stretch out. For that alone, I'm so grateful. Otherwise, an older building but well maintained and very clean and comfortable. Full menu including western foods. The place has character, and not a few characters. Everyone, staff and patrons, were very friendly. I liked my experience a lot. Note, I read some of the negative reviews. I had nor saw any of that. I had a restful, overnight stay. My 4 stars are based on the budget price and overall experience. I hope you'll enjoy MB's Garden Inn as much as I did. If ever I have a layover in Cebu, I'll certainly stay again.

When we first arrived in the room there were 2 dead cockroaches! During the 2 nights we were there, 3 more huge cockroaches somehow got into our room. I'll only recommend the place as a hang out spot, nice atmosphere and people, but the rooms are so gross. I never tried the food because if there were that many roaches in the room I can't even imagine how many are in the kitchen!

Sounded peaceful by the name, it was off the beaten path, my taxi driver was lost, then around x3, finally found little driveway to back near ally, and shanty housing, ended up at a biker club bar. So strange, but quaint enough filled with Europeans. Eclectic decorations. Room was okay, in back by pool, quiet enough, no hot water, mosquitoes in room, TV, ac, private bath.
