The breakfast selection was pretty good. But where the problems lay was our room. When we flushed the toilet it ran forever, and when I went down to reception to report the issue, I was met with a very lukewarm response of ”you need to push both buttons”. Later on we required a couple more pillows for our room. I went down to reception. The first question asked was let me check if we have any more. She brought out one and stated that there should be another one in the closet. There wasn’t. And the pillows were not very good at all. Over all that receptionist was not very friendly, nor did she seem to care at all. Over all our stay was manageable, but if given a choice I would not stay there again.

This hotel was definitely in a great location to enjoy historical sites, shops of all sorts and bars and restaurants. The room itself was good and was very quiet considering it’s located in quite a hub of activity. Staff were friendly and helpful and it even had an elevator which was a lovely bonus. For the money I paid I would highly recommend it.

The hotel or Expedia failed us. I booked two rooms. One room with one bed and the other room with two beds. My confirmation print out shows that. The hotel oahd two rooms with one bed only. They said I did not reserve two beds for one room. My confirmations shows otherwise. They did not have another room available to accommodate the request. Someone messed up and we had a big problem with that.

Pros: the staff were very friendly, thanks for the early check in, room was very clean and very quiet, the bed was very comfortable, love the supermarket downstairs, good location walkable to many attractions, elevator worked well. CONS: No cool air conditioning, when I turned on the air con it was just a fan causing the room to smell of cigarettes, my guess was the air intake was near a smoking area, there were homeless and sketchy looking guys hanging near the entrance.

We asked twice about blankets. Staff never informed us about why we did not get it. We asked and was told that there are too many occupants. Breakfast was very limited. The only bright spot was cleaning staff.
