Novotel Edinburgh Park

The location is perfect if you don't want to over pay for your stay and be in old town via tram in 20 minutes , It was very quiet area , right next to transportation to old town, shopping mall right next to the area ,we enjoyed shopping the daily needs with local and very friendly people

Everything was okay.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. I have stayed in this hotel on a previous occasion so I am aware it is a bit out of the centre of Edinburgh but the tram stop is a 5 minute walk and is 15 minutes tram ride into Edinburgh. I did find the hotel bedding and pillows to be quite low quality, but it is a more budget hotel. Apparently there was a lot of young people staying from Cheerleader competition and there was a lot of them running around. I had to call reception at midnight to complain about the noise. Very disappointed that Novotel no longer provides free parking for guests but now charges £15 per night. It is cheaper to book directly through the parking company "Your Parking Space".

Comfortable stay

We had one of the suites on the top floor. Great views towards the city. Ideal location for my purposes.

Lovely hotel, nice and new and modern and clean. Great location on the tram line. Enjoyed the pool and the bar. The room was spacious and comfortable with good views too.

Very convenient location. Great breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Will definitely go back again.

Pool and staff were great

Room was clean and staff ensured we were near to the other room we had booked for family member which was great, staff always friendly and willing to help with any needs or requests, breakfast superb as was the restaurant at dinner times, room was very clean and all amenities were clean too, our autistic son learnt to swim while we were staying this time in the nice clean pool which was amazing, absolutely no problems or complaints whatsoever, will definitely be staying again (this was our 4th time so far!)

Staff were always friendly and engaging. We had adjoining rooms which were suitable for a family stay. The hotel is perfectly situated between the airport and central Edinburgh, the only downside is that being so close to the tram and railway tracks there is a lot of noise.

Checking date wasn’t favourable, we try again next time

Room and facilities were very nice, particularly for the price. However with the exception of the front desk agents who were professional and courteous, the rest of the staff were average at best. The level of cleanliness in our room seemed to depend day to day on who was working, while the restaurant staff varied from polite indifference to borderline rude. Apparently you get what you pay for, and nothing more.

Very clean hotel

Would have been a 5, but one of your restaurant staff was incredibly grumpy and unhelpful. One of your Breakfast colleagues sai we could buy a coffee frrom the bar and drink it there as we didnt want a full breakfast. We found this to be very kind and helpful. Your other staff member told us THREE times that we were actually not meant to do that and that only people who bought full breakfast had access... unneccesary and not our fault...
