Hotel Park

All was good.

Staff are super helpful. Room was nice. Spa amenities okay. We rented bikes, a great experience. An interesting route to arrive, you feel like you are on a bike path as you approach. It's a nice town.

Place is really run down. Bathroom stunk. Faucets were rusty.

Great hotel and nice staff.

We were two disabled guests visiting the hotel for first time. There was no disabled access to the hotel and no one from the hotel came to assist us with the wheelchair. The food on the buffet was boring and dull. There were no fruit choices and the same little sweets day after day, night after night. The staff spoke very little or no English at all and they would not make the effort to find someone who actually speaks our language. The room was small with no facilities for disabled people like shower rails or shower seat or shower alarm or toilet rail. At the reception, the toilets there were so small, I could not fit in and felt claustrophobic, as I could not move. There were not enough amenities in the hotel and could not find any literature, brochures or information in English. There were noisy people partying next door until late at night and we had to call the reception twice to ask them to be quiet. In general we could not engage with the staff and could not relate to the hotel. We would not go there again if it was free of charge.

Nice Location, Comfortable, and a very nice Breakfast Spread.

A comfortable hotel situated in a quiet area next to the local park. The room was of a good standard. The town centre is close by. Breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and friendly and booking in etc. was easy.

Great park next to the river, near the town centre. We had a couple of spa treatments which made our little break complete.

Nothing about the Hotel Park warrents the cost per night. Its rooms were passing grade at best with no AC in the room. If you want a throw back experience that makes you feel that communism is still alive behind the iron curtain, then this would be your place. If you think spa and image over grown weeds, abandon buildings and graffiti, then this your place.

Unusual hotel in 2017.... at times a throw-back to the communist era with lights switched off, tiled walls, high net drapes on most windows and a decent looking top-floor bar that we found was closed at 9pm on a Friday night! The restaurant buffet finished at 8.30pm which was very early. The male reception staff at night was very unfriendly although two females on check-out in the morning were obviously much happier to be there! There is a very nice indoor pool which seems to be in a new part of the hotel although the advertised sauna has to be pre-booked by two hours. The rooms had a small balcony although the view was limited to the park as the trees are very high. Ample power sockets although no air-conditioning meant a very warm night and the bed clothes were too heavy for summer weather. Breakfast was nice with a reasonable choice in a "continental" style. Limited English spoken by bar/restaurant staff although it wasnt a major issue.

Not a great hotel. Needs renovating, poor breakfast, some rude staff (although some were very friendly), thin walls meant to could every sound from neighbours.

The hotel rooms are tiny and need renovating. Very uncomfortable... But the swimming pool at the hotel is nice...

I have stayed here before and the staff are all very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast is a varied buffet so suits all tastes. The swimming pool is a decent size and opens to a sun verandah when weather permits and the sun loungers are comfortable. Is the first time I have not had a view of the river from my balcony which was a little disappointing.
