Very nice

I had a very disappointing experience staying here. The laundry service caused significant damage to my clothes. White items were washed together with dark colors, permanently staining them, and wool clothing was put in the dryer, causing irreversible damage and pilling. Rewashing was attempted but did not fix the damage. What made this more frustrating is that I asked to wash my clothes myself, since the washer and dryer were located right next to my room, but I was told this was not allowed and that staff had to handle the laundry. Afterward, management refused compensation and stated they are “not a laundromat,” and that I should have provided instructions for how to wash each individual item, even though separating whites and darks and not drying wool are basic laundry practices. Ultimately about $150 worth of new clothing was destroyed. They refunded the price of operation (about 4 USD), but that was it. Additionally, the blankets on the bed were shredded/torn when I arrived, and there were also someone else's hairs in the bed (I took photos with a timestamp from check-in). While I was not charged for this, it raised concerns about cleanliness and room condition. Finally, the property is located in a very dark, narrow alley, which felt very unsafe at night as a female solo traveler. This was not clearly communicated in advance and affected my overall comfort. Everything was good but no elevater!

I enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse. It is conveniently located near Jongno 5(o)ga subway station and 1 minute from 24 hour CU convenience store. My room was clean and quiet in the evening. The staff were fantastic and helpful. Breakfast is simple and a nice touch. I would stay here again next time I come to Seoul.

The hostel is clean, the staff is Very nice and even carried my bag for me. Loved the window with trees outside. The room is spacious. The house slippers and separate bathroom slippers is nice too. My only complaints- the bed is very uncomfortable and the tv only gives you 3 min previews unless you have a subscription. :/

Location is near train st. Staff speaks English fluently & helpful.

The area is really convenient walking distance to line 1. staff are really friendly and helpful, i communicate with them for an earlier check in and they were ok to accommodate as there was a room available. also offered to help me with my baggage’s. the only thing i disliked was the property was obviously under maintained. but cleanliness was good despite the walls and not maintained. with the price i think its a perfect choice tbh just dont be too picky and you will enjoy your stay. also would like to recommend the property to clean the Air Conditioner.

The staff were friendly and helpful, It had everything I needed for my stay. Breakfast was fairly basic - cereals, toast,, ham, cheese, spreads, boiled egg, juice and coffee - but very much what I'd have at home so no issues there.
