Hotel Carlos V

Roof top dining at sunset is a must! Hotel wifi was intermittent, unable to lower thermostat below 78 deg F. Hotel is well situated for walking to major attractions and shopping. Clean, safe and walkable.

Very friendly and helpful staff. They called the cab for us when we needed to get to an event outside of the city. The hotel is clean and the neighborhood is very safe. We walked to all of the major attractions in Toledo.

There is no WiFi in your room. It is available in the lobby only. We were in the “updated” side of the hotel and the air conditioning did not work properly. Needless to say it was very hot, of course. The room was very cool with bare wood ceilings. There is no parking at this hotel. They have an agreement with a garage down the hill. Do not drive through the city, instead drive all the way around on the outside of the wall, then venture in to the hotel. Breakfast was 12.50 euro but worth it for the other area options. Parking will be about 23 euro in the large lot. I

Hotel is in excellent condition and centrally located to Toledo, amazing roof top restaurant with great views of the Cathedral. AC was not as strong for Americans traveling but they accommodated us with a fan which was very helpful. Super helpful staff and pleasant. Loved it

clean. good beds. parking is a 300 yard walk. reception staff were nice but only one person working so seemed slow to me.

The air conditioning system wasn't strong enough for the entire hotel when it was very hot.

An old-style property right by the Alcazar and near the main square of Toledo with modern rooms. Friendly staff and good service. Walkable to everywhere worth seeing and a short taxi ride to/from the train station.

Staff was extra friendly, room was small but big enough for two. Plenty of hot water with good pressure in the shower. Walkable to tons of great places.

Great location. Room was smaller than others we stayed in Spain, but clean and comfortable. What we really disliked was both nights we stayed, we tried to use the roof top bar and both nights it was packed with a very large group that had more than half of it reserved and all the servers attention was given to them. We tried to order drinks and dessert and finally cancelled our order after 40 mins of waiting for one dessert while the group was constantly being served trays of food and drinks. Large group also had many smokers making it uncomfortable for our table near by and no other open tables to move to. Our server also was not patient or polite.

Super clean and comfortable
