Charming hotel with everything a traveller could want. The hotel itself is beautiful and ideally located. The breakfast is good; there's a warm swimming pool with nice sauna and jacuzzi. The staff are friendly and helpful. We can't imagine staying anywhere else -- highly recommend!

This hotel is a little gem, steeped in history and very central. The internal lounge area with it's palms and exotic plants is wonderful. I would recommend this hotel so long as you are not looking for luxury. There are lovely views from many rooms and the pool is good. Shame they don't offer tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Fixtures and fittings are sadly just looking a bit tired.

We requested the possibility of the same room we had last visit and they obliged us , the staff our fabulous . We just love this hotel steeped in history and would be loath to stay anywhere else . Can't wait to return and hopefully gir longer next time .

It's an old building and a rolling upgrade is being slowly rolled out. Overall, it's a bit worn but comfortable. Quite a decent breakfast is included. Photo is taken from Room 115

Our stay was good. The room was adequate which is to be expected for the age of the hotel and it would be a shame to alter this as it would ruin the traditional hotel. We did have 'a visitor' (cockroach) on the first morning of our stay (we stayed for five nights) but when we reported it to the reception we were told it probably flew in. The receptionist said she'd ask the cleaning staff to spray our room which they did and we saw no more. We enjoyed our stay and loved the pool and surrounding area. The breakfast was adequate, but good for the cost of our stay.
