Stayed here for my Aunt's 90th birthday celebrations, She lives in Denia and the birthday lunch was held in the hotel. Hotel is lovely, quiet and chilled, great vybe, very clean and nice rooms. Staff were very helpful. Great position minutes from sea and you can walk into Denia

La Rocona is a lovely property in a great location. We stayed in a standard room in the main building, what seems to be an old masia. The lobby is beautiful as is the adjacent terrace that houses the restaurant. The beach is a 2 minute walk. Staff was welcoming and pleasant, room was clean and comfortable, though a bit noisy because of the acoustics of the lobby. The downside is the poor engineering in the bathroom. The floor of the shower is badly constructed and the water will flow right across the bathroom and into the bedroom. Really poorly designed. Also, the WiFi is very slow, but we were there for the beach, not the WiFi! We had a great lunch in the restaurant, the food was excellent as was the service. I highly recommend the Racona and next time we will ask for a different room!

We loved the proximity to the beach/ sea and the restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful & flexible- thank you. However we were disappointed about the overall cleanliness- we had to ask for it to be swept & vacuumed….it had not been done thoroughly after the previous guests had left- food/ dirt etc. was user the couch. Secondly, the room was a touch tired- paint peeling from the bannister; chips/ some damage to the wood work/ door frames. This was mid June, so the height of the summer has still to come, so if it was a bit tired at this time of the year, I’d be interested to see what condition it would be in by the end of the summer.

Pretty building, tastefully decorated with well kept grounds. A tranquil setting. Bed was comfortable and bedding could quality. Good breakfast and bikes for rent. Room was very small, shower luke warm/not enough hot water.

Lovely interior and vibe with nice pool and garden. Easy access to beach and friendly staff. Cleanliness of apartments needs improvement. Shower only hot for five minutes. No WiFi in rooms even though its mentioned on booking site. No new towels or trash cleaning is DIY.

The Hotel Racona was still being refurbished so we were put in another MR group hotel 5 minutes walk away. The above ratings are for The Palau Verd. Although the hotel was okay we were further from the coast and the swimming pool was much smaller and too cold to use.

This is a quirky little Hotel, set among a small conurbation of apartments, with a pool, restaurant, and direct access onto the sea front. Very laid back staff, including a Yorkshire Terrier named after 007 - Bond, who has the ears of a donkey and a wicked charm. The room - 102, had air-conditioning of a kind, a ceiling fan and a small un-stocked minibar, all adequate but a little tired. Never the less we enjoyed a week here, using the beach(rocks) access and great sea front walks.

Para comer y cenar hay menú diario y también es posible pedir a la carta, si bien, tanto ésta como el menú diario siempre son lo mismo (un poco justito). Las camas son cómodas.

Small wonderfull hotel. One hundred meters from the sea (rocky beach). Peaceful environment, taxi to town 10 euros. If you want peace and trancuillity in Denia, Racona is perfect.

Resort like hotel with a relaxed atmosphere. Decent clean room entirely white with a balcony/patio with sun-chairs. Big warm pool. Decent restaurant with moderate pricing. The place has an eternal fight against leafs, pine needles and dove droppings. 50 meter from the sea and a good restaurant.
