LC Hotel Urbano

Expedia are in danger of damaging their trusted reputation advertising properties in this condition. Truly, it’s awful. It’s dirty everywhere, from the foyer, hallways through to the bedrooms. This hotel has a no refund policy and it’s obvious why. Truly, to try and charge for rooms in this current condition is unbelievable.

This is really low budget. It is in the noisyst street with red to end bars and clubs. Finally quiet en ough to sleep around 3. Don’t stay regret a less you are going to be joining the drinkers

El hotel está en un área centrica, es el único plus que le veo pero el hotel al menos nuestras anotaciones 101 y 102 deja mucho que desear humedad en las paredes en las puertas olor a humedad. Honestamente no es un lugar para que un ser humano se pueda quedar a dormir tengo fotos de todo que avala mi descontento.

Broken air conditioner, a floor that hasn’t been mopped in a long time and it’s right above a club so your whole room shakes at night. On the other hand, Staff was friendly, especially to someone with poor Spanish. And it’s in a decent location.

Loud music until 3 in the morning our room looked nothing like they had advertised in the brochure and did not look like part of the hotel

A lot of noise in the area, accomodations OK, would only ask for extra sheets for the bed

Baño con elementos rotos (soporte de ducha, canilla de lavabo, mampara de ducha).

We slept the first night in a different room that we paid for, it had two individual bed put together, meaning you could fall in the middle of the two beds bc the split apart. It happened multiple times over the first night. We came down the next morning and they placed us in the room that we actually paid for. Unfortunately the toilet had a leak so every time you went to the bathroom you need to open the water so it could fill the tank.. flush and the close it. It had a blue bucket next to the toilet so the leak didn’t go on the floor.

I booked this hotel prior to reading previous reviews and instantly regretted it. I honestly thought I was going to be staying in Bates Motel with Chucky hiding in the cupboard. Arrived and was met with a clean reception area with very friendly staff. Check in was no issue at all. Go to my room which I found to be clean and tidy. The fridge worked (I didn't use it, but had seen reviews saykng it didn't...) The Air-Con worked, which was a blessing in the 35 degree heat in Alicante this week! There was a safe in the room which I used. There was a TV but I didn't turn it on. The bathroom had everything you want. A toilet, basin and shower. Soap, shampoo and body wash was provided as were towels. Didnt want for anything in that respect. So far, so good!! I was here during Las Hogueras so Alicante was absolutely bouncing 25 hours a day. Yes, it was noisy, however i couldn't have been any more in the centre of the city so was expecting it to be. If I wanted utter silence I'd have booked a SAGA over 50's where everyone is in bed by 8PM after a good old dance of "The Slosh". Could the bathroom been a bit cleaner? Possibly, but I've genuinely stayed in worse Travelodge hotels at double the price per night. In all honesty, this is a cheap hotel slap bang in the middle of the city. I honestly dont know what people are expecting for the price this place charges. I personally have absolutely zero complaints about it and would definitely return.

Appalling hotel, might aswell stayed in a hostel, would have been quiter and cleaner. Not impressed whatsoever. Nothing like the photos.

Great location for bars and restaurants. Room only - would have been nice to have a kettle and some cups in room for a coffee/tea first thing. Air con - coolish, not that cold. We had a back room but I imagine rooms would be noisy at night at the front of hotel

Staff is friendly and the area was close to the city and there good restaurants but unfortunately the music is too loud and if you are coming here. Make sure you are bringing an earplug

Amazing location!

This is the worst place we've ever stayed in, worst than many hostels where we've stayed before. The noise and all sounds we could hear from the rooms on the same floor kept us awake for 3 nights. On top of that blocked sink in bathroom which no one came to fix at the end, dirty bedding and duvets with no proper duvet covers, so we could see all awful stains on them. Doors were not closing properly, so everyone was bashing the doors to lock. Spend a bit more or a bit less, but DO NOT stay at this place. I contacted Expedia as this place should not even be advertised. I wish I could upload pictures for everyone to see the filth. Also be mindful, this "hotel" is on the busiest night streets, beaming with nightlife. If you get a room at the front of the building, there is no chance you would get sleep. We were moved from there the first night, but ended up listening to people shouting all night. DO NOT stay at this place! It will ruin the short time you have in beautiful Alicante.

Basic accommodation, good location

The hotel is located in a good areas close to the beach/harbour the rooms are small it wasn’t the cleanest and the tv and fridge did not work , there was no water or coffee pods provided as stated on the hotel website, the hotel is located above a night club so best to avoid if staying on a weekend. If you are just staying for a few nights then I suppose for the money it’s ok , I would stay there again

We stayed a Saturday night. Did not sleep a single minute - the hotel is what I would describe as on 'party street'. Lots of people sitting at tables and milling about outside until 2/3am. Very noisy - the sound of people having lots of drinks and fun (not judging, just not enjoyable when you're the sober one 😅) Not only noisy outside, the walls of the hotel are PAPER THIN. After the party outside died down, we were literally lying in bed, listening to the person next door watch video clips on their phone for 3 hours - could hear word for word what they were listening to. Worst night ever. Oh, and when we checked in they told us they don't have the family room available that we booked. So our child had to sleep on the floor on a mattress. Would not recommend.
