NYX Hotel Madrid by Leonardo Hotels

Very nice hotel in a calm area. The metro was only a 15 minute walk away. Hotel was clean and the lobby bar area was great. The margaritas are delicious!

Everything was well maintained. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

We booked this last minute as our original accommodation had fallen through, and we could not have been luckier! The location was brilliant (as tourists to get into the centre), as well the neighbourhood with some amazing local restaurants and amenities. The staff were all fantastic, kind and, helpful, from check in to the bar staff. The breakfast was generally very good, and perfect to fuel up for a long day out. Unfortunately the pool was closed for renovation, which would have made the trip even better! Overall, this is a great hotel to have as a base whilst you explore Madrid, and will be returning!

Very modern, clean and staff was very hospitable. The breakfast alone was worth it!

It is well located with helpful staff. But it was deceiving that the rooftop patio and pool were closed; this is something we would have liked to know ahead because we would have use it; the weather was incredible.

Excellent overall

The room was very cool, nice to have a balcony area on a city break! Modern design and the bathroom was really cool. There was a ‘heat lamp’ in the ceiling which gave it spa vibes. Hotel was in a decent location about 10 minute walk to the metro. Wish we were closer to central downtown but that’s personal preference and didn’t affect the trip. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby the hotel so on nights we couldn’t be bothered to get the metro we didn’t feel like we missed out! Breakfast was nice and nice atmosphere. I would have preferred more heated breakfast options on the buffet as we had bacon, eggs three ways, and traditional Spanish dishes. I do like options in the morning but again personal preference. Staff very friendly. Bar at night was a cool vibe with good music and on Friday there was a live DJ. They had a roof terrace which will be amazing vibes in the summer months. I’d definitely go back here but do research on location!!

My stay was great, lovely clean comfy room. The breakfast is good.

Pool and rooftop deck were closed for maintenance. So amenities received a lower rating. Buffet breakfast was very good with a large variety. Certainly better than what we get in the US. Located 5-10 minute walk to the large metro station. Very near shopping and restaurants.

Hotel is lovely the room was a little small but a good stay over all and very well connected into Madrid centre

Perfect location if visiting the Bernabeu and situated near the Madrid city Tour buses for ease of getting aroumd. Breakfast was good, basic but plenty to choose from. Only negative was the room was very small and located near the lifts, so noisy at times but other than thay, good value for money. Staff were all helpful and polite.

Nice different hotel, great staff but very disappointed that it wasnt highlighted the pool is only operational from June in the summer.

We really liked the location as we were attending a match at the Bernabeu stadium and it is only a 10 minute walk. We are a family of 5 so had to book 2 rooms. They were on the same hall. The rooms were very cramped - the room for 3 did not even have a chair to sit on. Carpet is old and grubby looking. Breakfast was ok. There did not seem to be a restaurant on site and not a huge amount of restaurants in the area. The pool was closed as it was April.
