We had a wonderful stay! It was our first time in Barcelona, and this hotel was a great choice. It’s centrally located, with easy access to shops and bars. Most places are within walking distance, but the hotel is also well-connected by public transport.
The staff couldn’t have been kinder. We were celebrating my partner’s birthday, and the hotel surprised us with champagne and a thoughtful note, making our stay even more special. If we return to Barcelona, we would definitely stay here again!

I am requesting a refund for my stay. Due to persistent issues, I had to change rooms three times.
On the first day, I changed my room because the one assigned to me had windows that could not be opened. Additionally, the hotel used a strong air freshener, likely to mask odors. When I switched rooms, I encountered the same issue—the window could be opened, but it was cold, so I left the window open for ventilation.
The next day, after the air freshener's effect faded, I noticed a strong sewer smell from the bathroom. I wasn’t sure if it was from the room or outside, as I had opened the window. However, last night, the smell became so unbearable that I couldn’t stay in the room. I informed reception, and after inspecting the room, they confirmed the odor and moved me to a third room.
Unfortunately, the new room had the same issue—strong air fresheners masking the sewer smell. This is unacceptable, as such issues pose serious health risks. I paid significantly for this stay and feel misled about the hotel's conditions. Hotels.com should remove this hotel, as it fails to meet basic hospitality standards. They also have a responsibility to verify hotels before listing them.
Given these circumstances, I request a full refund for my stay. Please let me know how to proceed.

The hotel was very cool and close to the main part of town. Many shops and restaurants are walkable. The rooms and property were clean and the breakfast was excellent. My only warning is that our room had a balcony which included two steps down in the middle of the room. If you sleep on that side of the room, be careful because you might fall!! (I did). Regardless, I would stay here again.

We locked into having this place for two nights in a row at the last minute. It was a stylish Boutique type hotel with plenty of space for four people. We got the room that had twin bunk beds, a separate twin bed, and what was listed as a double bed in the other room but was actually a king size bed. The room stayed dark so we were able to sleep late after coming in quite late at night on our first night. This was a family trip, with four people total. Two teens and two adults.
There was always fresh water and available in the lobby as well as tea and coffee upon request. The location was extremely walkable to all of the local sites and food areas. This was one of the nicest places we stayed during our 8 day visit to Spain.

The staff is extremely friendly. But they have to fix some issues:
- some rooms have old furniture that needs extremely urgent replacement.
- the light in the bathroom makes impossible to shave
- the bycicles that are for free are in a very bad technical condition (very hard to use them)
- the duvet on the bed is covered only in 2 sheets (like a sandqich) and it is almost impossible not to touch directly the duvet (which for sure was touched by other guests). They should use a sheet like and envelope to complete "close" the duvet
- in room 107 it was a very bad smell
