I love the cold/hot water machine on my floor. The area was generally quiet with occasionally drunk people screaming at night. The noise was bad on Friday night ans I was surprised to see crowds of people in early morning of Saturday. It seems the crowds might have party all night and remained in the hotel area till morning.

The hotel's design is nice, but it's not functional, especially the bathrooms. The noise at night is unbearable because the bars in the area are constantly blaring from 10 pm until 8 am the next day. The staff wasn't very friendly and didn't offer solutions for problems they couldn't solve.

The hotel is located not far from the train station and very easy to get around to main attractions. The staff were friendly and the breakfast had excellent choices. Also, there was a machine in each floor to get filtered cold water which we appreciated. If your room is facing the main street, it can be noisy on Saturday nights. Overall, we recommend the hotel to anyone.

On checking in they tried to give us a basic room which wasn't right as we had booked a superior terraced room. When we got to our room eventually it was made up for one person not two. The maid kept the room clean but very hit and miss if you got tea or coffee.We asked for an extra cup, milk and coffee it vexed the man delivering. The breakfast wasn't the best and the women worked very hard in the breakfast room . Lots of the crockery was chipped. We intended to eat in the restaurant on our last night and the had a function unusual in my experience they hadn't made another room available all that was available was snacks in the bar. If it was selling itself as a cheap hotel you would make allowances but it isn't. We were told that we couldn't use our Radisson points nor the promotion that Expedia gave us as we didn't book directly with the hotel.

The room was spacious, good air conditioning and convenient location. Close to museums, Atocha train station and public transportation. The front desk staff extremely helpful. My rating was impacted by the poor service at the hotel restaurant and rooftop bar.

There was trash left in a can in my room. Mattress comfortable but pillows were ultra thin. Nice room overall. Not super soundproof. Staff was ok but not the most helpful. Parking is not with the hotel, you have to find one around that is not full. Very expensive.

Room was great, modern feel and comfortable in all areas that you would expect from a city hotel. The Breakfast was a disappointment, stayed at many hotels over the years and this breakfast is not worth adding to your costs. Lots of places to get food on the doorstep of the hotel so thats a better option. I usually don't mind paying for hotel breakfast for the convenience with kids but this was poor overall.

Beautiful hotel and very well located. We walked to La Puerta de Alcalá, Plaza mayor and Plaza del Sol. Many restaurants close by, and the Atocha train station is also about a couple of blocks away from the hotel.
