Aarauerhof - Self Check-in

Property is outdated. Location is great with a lot of shops nearby.

I like the vicinity to train station and Altstadt shopping and restaurants. The hotel lacks a few safety features in the Bathroom area like unsave bathtub ie could use rubber mats or hand rails. The Bar/Restaurant on street level is excessively noisy (music - low level base) at weekends Friday/Saturday up to 4AM.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Although the check in was easy we didn’t enjoy our stay as the hotel and surrounding area had bars and a disco in the hotel. People shouting at 2 in the morning in and outside the hotel. There is a grout of people that hand out around the hotel area that looked very unsafe( even the police were called) Switzerland is not what it used to be ☹️ The safe didn’t work, there was NO free parking as stated when I booked. We won’t be staying here again!

Functional hotel next to train station with no reception or concierge. Self check in and check out facilities work fine, but the key card did not open the front door, hence I had to call the push button operator to open the door. Breakfast is nice, but continental with no frills.

Didn't like the noise and cigarette smokers outside the front door. Liked there was a bar/lounge connected.

It is next to the train station, convenient. But that's about it. There are always people screaming something at night. No services. Spartanic

Clean and comfortable room. The location is very good, right next to the train station, and the automated check-in was smooth. When I did need to call someone to check the breakfast times, someone answered quickly and was friendly. There was a staff member at breakfast too, who was friendly. There is also a secure bike storage. The breakfast was ok, but could have a few more options and a better coffee machine. The doors of the rooms are a bit thin, so you can hear any noise from the hallway. Also, the bathroom was slightly dark as one of the bulbs was not working. Overall it's a nice and convenient hotel, at a good price, and I would stay there again.

Goed gelegen in het centrum, betaald parkeren onder het station. Online inchecken ging prima met hulp van aardige receptioniste op afstand die ons binnenhielp. Kamer was (te) warm maar had een staande cooler die een klein beetje verkoeling bracht. Bedden lagen goed maar helaas rook het kussen niet fris

Øv for en oplevelse vi gik slet ikke op på værelset. Da vi kom blev der råbt i den opgang og politiet kom og anholdt en og det var ikke mennesker vi ville være omkring om natten med børn. Så ikke et sted vi overhovedet vil anbefale og forstår slet ikke at hotels.com vil sælge så noget som familie værelset.

Leider war zu heiss keine klima, nivht umbeding sauber..kissen sind zu weich, die dechrn sind nicht saison messig...

Ich gehe regelmässig in dieses Hotel. Es ist super zentral beim Bahnhof. Dieses mal hatte ich leider ein Zimmer zur Westseite. Die Sonne strahlte den ganzen Nachmittag rein, was es unerträglich machte. Auch in der Nacht war es mehr als 35°C. Dazu der Strassenlärm und Motorräder die sinnlos Gas geben. Ich konnte keine 2h schlafen und bin dann auf den ersten Zug..

Self service was ok. Bed was ok, but that was the only thing in the room - not even glasses to drink water. Noisy, hot and smelly.

Zimmer sauber aber leider kein Leben mehr im Hotel wie früher kein Restaurant kein Frühstücksraum

Super Location easy Check in

Gut genug wenn es Günstig sein soll oder eine Geschäftsreise ist. Das Zimmer ist sauber aber es könnte mal etwas investiert werden. z.B. blättert Farbe in der Dusche ab. Alles in Allem okay, aber ein Frühstück wäre schon sehr viel wert.

Anwesendes Personal! Maschine für Self-check-in funktionierte nicht für Zimmmerschlüssel-Prägung, wir mussten alles nochmal von vorne auf der anderen Maschine machen. Sauberkeit gut.

Gute Lage, checkin kompliziert aber mit telefonischer Rücksprache erledigt.
