Hotel Anker was one of our favorite stays in Switzerland. It's the perfect boutique hotel, combining modern style with a warm, welcoming feel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful view of Mount Pilatus right from our window. Every corner of the hotel feels like a modern art gallery, with unique décor that gives it so much personality.
The real standout, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to help. They even lent us travel adapters, which was such a thoughtful gesture and saved us a trip to the store. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and the coffee station was a great way to start the day.
With comfortable beds, a quiet atmosphere, and an easy walk to the train station and old town, Hotel Anker is everything you could want in a boutique hotel. We'd gladly stay here again.

Very nice hotel in a great location. The staff was great! Always smiling, always friendly and always ready to assist in any way. Breakfast was excellent. We also enjoyed a great dinner there. Only suggestions that would have made it more enjoyable for me is if they had softer pillows and if electrical outlets were at more convenient locations. (I had to get on my knees and reach under a table to plug things in)

The best part of this hotel is the breakfast! Really, really amazing! The rest was not good. The location is central and close to many things, but the road outside the building is super noisy. We did not have a window in our room - it was a door to a shared balcony, and it was very weird hearing other guests hang out there. Since there was no AC and it was super hot, we had to sleep with a slightly open balcony door and a window to get some air but it was super noisy and we did not get good sleep at all. It honestly felt like a student dorm with this sharing style. We paid appx.750usd per night, which is extremely overpriced for what we were getting. If I were to come back to Lucerne, I would try to stay at a hotel with a lake view for a more peaceful sleep. All in all, i believe there are better hotels in Lucerne than this one.

I understand my reservation didn’t start until three. They were over a half hour late letting us check in. Didn’t get to the room until almost 4 pm.
Not sure how this place is this highly rated.
For over $1000 a night I would expect to have the place better prepared to support check in requirements.

Excellent place to stay, the location is unbeatable and the rooms are very cute. Price is quite reasonable taking into account this is Switzerland 😂 Highly recommend.
Only suggestion would be for the TVs to have more English speaking channels/dubbing. Otherwise, excellent stay.

This hotel was great as a solo traveler in Switzerland for the first time. Easily walkable from old towne and the train. The room was large and quiet. The shower was nice and hot. The breakfast had a lot of options and I was able to make sandwiches for my daily excursions from the buffet. I alswpuld definitely stay here again. Also they had a fun photo booth in the lower level!

Lovely hotel very close to the Chapel Bridge and Rosengart galleries. Rooms are clean and nice and the whole hotel has a bit of a good quirky vibe. Breakfast is decent - some hot & continental options. Would stay here again.

Stunning property, amazing staff, wonderful breakfast . Stellar location. Very happy with this hotel.
We got here very early and were so jet lagged . Fell asleep in the second floor lounge area and the front desk staff came to find us and tell us our room was ready so we could go have a nap .
Room was clean. Little treat on our bed and some nespresso coffee. Shower was lovely, room is soundproofed from the noise of downtown. Blackout shades as well for a nice sleep. Fan to cool off if needed but we ended up opening the window while we slept for some fresh breeze.
Breakfast had a very good variety, better than the other hotels I’ve been staying at along my journey.
The staff went out of their way to ensure whatever we needed we had and If we wanted something they offered ways to give it to us . You won’t be disapppinted staying here !
