The staff on reception were helpful and friendly. However, in relation to the cost of the room, it was cramped and very basic in theroom itself, with a curtain to separate the beds from the bathroom. The quality of the breakfast was also disappointing in relation to the cost and compared to most other hotels that we have stayed in.

The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were good. I slept very well here. The breakfast was good, as long as you are not gluten free. Had to ask for bread which is ok I don’t mind that, but it was like it was a chore to be asked. When it says budget it is budget. It is like a lower class Travelodge for the British among the readers. There is no kettle or fridge in the room, I do think there is room for both. You get hot water from downstairs, but sometimes there were no cups. If you ask the staff they are not always very helpful or maybe I just asked the wrong ones. There was no milk or teabags or coffee to go with the hot water. There is a supermarket next door. It is a 15 minutes walk from the train station. The area is safe, female solo traveller. If you arrive before check in you have to pay 3CHF per bag, to leave your bag. There is no charge on leaving. There is a bus right outside the door so you can use your city pass for this, you get it free at check in. I do think some amenities could be added and some staff need some staff training in customer service.

The shower are terrible. Very slow and changes temperature every few seconds. By child had skin burn because couldn't figure out correct temperature of water.

Horrible and terrible There was bed bug on the room and beds and I reported to staff and manager, but they asked to find and bring to them 😂, even the employee asked me do you have pictures of that ? I showed them my feet that bit with that but manager went to the room and look for bedbug and then they said he didn’t find any , are they crazy??!! Horrible Never ever go there

The hotel is clean and staff are helpful and kind. It is about 13 minutes walk from the train station and the main sites of interest. There is a bus 4 right in front of the property that can take people to the train station. The Thai restaurant nearby is delicious. The breakfast buffet is decent at the hotel.

Great location, good breakfast. Rooms are too small and is for just a day or 2 stay with minimal survival mode. Can’t complain considering how capitalism keeps Swiss tourists spots expensive.

Aircon was ok. Rooms very small with shower in the room itself. Very expensive for an Ibis Budget (£250 per night) but that’s probably just Switzerland.

There very few amenities in the room and the rooms were very small, and there was no refrigerator.

The staff was amazing and accommodating (especially Kirill on check in). Breakfast was wonderful and plenty to choose from. Room was clean and very nice. Great location with a bus connection to old town - right in front of he hotel.

I like that everything is so nicely set in the small room that you don’t feel that it is small. Very well maintained, bus stop just outside the door is so helpful. Only thing missing was a fan but we opened the window and we were fine.

The hotel is Budget, so compact room, but clean amd functional, even with 3 people. Check in staff was not particularly welcoming or helpful, but was made up for by staff on check out amd on breakfast duty, who were both very friendly and helpful. The location was great with 15 minute walk to train station or 5 minute bus ride.

This definitely felt like a budget hotel, except in price. It was in a good location, breakfast was adequate and the bus pass for the city was really helpful. The room was so tight and the AC only made it slightly less warm. Front desk staff did give us a fan to help with the air flow. Luckily there was a large window that opened fully to let in some cool air. The bathroom was very modern and the rainfall shower was great! Grocery store next to the hotel and a bus stop across the street.

Breakfast was good but pictures of the rooms are misleading.

bare minimum setup in the smallest space possible. really budget. the toilet was smaller than the ones you see in airplanes. my kid enjoyed the bunkbed - not sure if it for everyone

Great location

The hotel was very satisfactory. It had air-conditioning and all the amenities we needed. We stayed in a quadruple room with our kids. The bathroom was very tiny but fine for our short stay. Staff was very helpful when we arrived early in the day and needed to store our luggage until check-in. It is next to the main train station but about a 20 minute walk so not as close as you might expect.

I was worried about staying here during a heat wave with no a/c. They did supply a fan and with the windows open ... I survived! Very clean!
