Kimpton DA AN HOTEL by IHG

Great hotel, great service. I highly appreciate Eric gave me support to make my day! Highly recommend to stay in Kimpton.

The Hotel was beautiful and functional. But the standout qualities were the excellent service of the staff. I stayed in 3 Taipei hotels this year and their service is the best. Upon check-in, you are asked to sit in the lobby without standing and queueing, they come to you with the registration papers and card terminal for the check-in (What a great idea!). There is free water, coffee, tea and bread in the lobby virtually all day so its a great convenience feature. The hotel is pet friendly so its a bonus to see all the cute dogs around. Location is also excellent and located so near from the shopping malls like Sogo and Mitsukoshi. Family Mart and 7-11 is also just a short walk away. The only downside is that their breakfast is very limited at the Tavern restaurant upstairs but that is already nit-picking as this is just a boutique hotel and not a big 5-star hotel. Overall, I would rate it 90% (excellent) and an absolute recommend for those who want to stay in a nice hotel without blowing your budget.

Tastefully furnished, clean and well maintained. Very conveniently located amidst many casual and upscale dining options, and a short walk from the metro. Amenities are minimal, though gym is well equipped.

Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, offering whenever it is possible even before you realize you need it. The property is very modern and beautifully set up, both in room and in the common areas. They are also super pet friendly and are not only very accommodating but welcoming to your fur babies!
